Attention All Villains!
The Super-Powered Hero Force, known as Vanguard has asked us to help them in the struggle to save our planet from the Rikti. Lord Recluse has answered to this cry for help, and here is what he had to say…
“We have one goal and that is to take over the world, but for now we must set that aside as our world has been threatened by an alien race. Allowing them to continue with their plans would mean that the world that we intend to take over one day, will be destroyed, this we cannot allow, and even though we may despise the heroes, we must combine our forces to eliminate this threat, known as the Rikti, once and for all. Once this Rikti scum is wiped from the planet we can continue our battle against the heroes. What better way to learn the hero’s weakness than to fight along with them. We shall lull them into thinking we are at peace and then use what we learn to crush them into submission when we take over the world. ”
So there you have it, we must set aside our differences with the heroes, and work together to save the world they were born to protect and the world we were born to take over.
Because you Ampers are spread out throughout all the servers we decided that we should do the event on the test server so you can play your favorite character no matter what server you play on. This event will take place when Issue 10 is released on Test Server. We will take a vote in the next week or 2 to decide on times that would be best to begin and end with, the exact date will be decided after I10 is released on test.
Who is invited to this event: Any Amper who has a toon level 35-50.
Where do we meet: We will gather up at Pocket D.
Screenshots will be VERY welcome after the event is complete. There might even be some prizes involved for some of the best Screenies.

The following are the list of events…
Bash’n some alien skulls! - We will go to the rikti war zone and battle agianst the rikti forces, we will be attempting to get into the crashed mothership. After that we will do missions, level of mobs wont matter as it is only on test server. (Note: Level 35+)
Saving the world! – After that we will form teams, number of teams will depend on how many people show, and we will do the Co-Op Strikeforce/Taskforce (Note: Level 45-50)

Starting June 22nd, 2007 - June 29th, 2007, we would like for all ampers to vote on what time would be best to start and end the event, this may change closer to event date. Thank you.

Sounds nice, but I demand that this event will be held on the European test server.
We are always left out on all the fun.

Hey, you can always jump Stateside :) You know you want to partake in the festivities of the Americas...
Nice write up Nova. I'd say, if it has to be during the week, Friday's are always best for me...weekends are even better. But just let me know the time (other than Tues/Thurs, as I teach classes in the evenings) and i'm there..just have to decide what toon to bring...

Unfortunately, the Test Server is closed for Beta testing currently, so, *ahem* nobody could possibly talk about doing that w/o breaking the NDA *ahem*. ;p
But once the public beta starts later in July (hopefully), it sounds like a good idea!

I agree with BD. Fridays are perfect for me (no internet restrictions Friday XD). Saturday is good too. I'll probably be available throughout the day unless my parents have planned something wacky that I don't know about yet. . . Anyways, It sounds like fun, I'll probably be using my 50 Ninja/DM, but might roll onto my 42 Katana/Regen if I'm in the mood.

I still stick to my plan I accidentally already blurbed out on the hero side; I am going to work together with the Rikti. They are not interested in blowing up the planet. They will just enslave it. And I have no issue being the local slave master.
Since there is only a limited number of villains and heroes (although the number of heroes is irrelevant), and an endless flow of Rikti, I have no doubt about the outcome of this war. I have my interplanetary communicator operational, and the negotiations are in progress. If any of you don't want to survive I am willing to do a good for a few of you. Just let me know ...

Enslave us, in their dreams they will, i cant speak for everyone else but i will fight til i die, and well im a super villain, so i cant die :), any ways, hopefully you will tag along, because we will win, all i need to know is the time difference between here and over there, so i can figure out the best time to start the event.
Edit: I'm also thinking of the event to take place on a Saturday, let me know if thats okay.

BAH!!!! I refuse to die...death is not an option! I'm sure I can find some good henchmen to throw in my path if need be....
However, Phe, we'd sure like ya to join us :) Besides, when we win, how would you survive in captivity, you're a being that needs to roam free.

There are a few problems with that plan.
1.) Heroes and Villains never actually die. They just respawn in a nearby hospital.
2.) Rikti are more prone to Dev neutralization than your average Hero/Villain. Especially when it comes to advancing the storyline.
3.) The Rikti are like Borg, Wraith, or even Goa'uld. In a situation like that they'll play along as long as it suits their interests, but as soon as they get what they want they'll just get rid of you in whatever way they see fit. They'd much rather have one of their own as local slave master.
4.) Even if your plan does succeed in the short term it is inevitable that the Rikti will one day be overthrown by a ragged band of rebels (the movie will probably be in trilogy form and will likely showcase a large furry wookie named Chewbacca). On top of that, everyone who betrayed the earth will be hunted and exterminated accordingly.
5.) You'll probably be unfortunate enough to get a problem slave group if the Rikti even give you one. If you're really unlucky you'll get a bunch of Ampers in it and we all know how that would turn out. ;-)
6.) Someone will sit on you.
I think that pretty much covers it.

hmmmmmm... any way I look at this war, I'm coming out on top! If we win, then I can have Phe in a cage dressed like Raggedy Ann or if the Rikti win, Phe will be my slave master...
