Attention All Heroes!
Intelligence has confirmed it. The Rikti are coming.
Vanguard has put together a coalition of superheroes to help stave off the Alien threat. However, without more help, we will be defeated. Although it was against the will of many of the Vindicators and Freedom Phalanx, we had to strike up a proverbial "Deal with the Devil".
A request was sent to the Lord of the Rogue Islands, Lord Recluse, in Grandville. We've requested a stay in our struggles against each other to put aside our differences and defend our world against this threat. This is something bigger than Paragon City and the Rogue Islands. The Rikti MUST be stopped, by any means necessary.
Lord Recluse has agreed. He will send a dispatch to Pocket D in the Cross-Dimension. His minions will be of Threat Level 35 or higher. We have agreed to send a squad of Heroes that are Security Level 35 or higher as well. The Gameamp Alliance will be represented in force, as well members from The Gameamp Asylum.
We know we cannot trust Lord Recluse or his minions. They WILL make every effort to save the world, however, we're certain that if they can dispatch of some of Paragon City's finest heroes, they will. Keep your eyes open at all times!
Because you Ampers are spread out throughout all the servers we decided that we should do the event on the test server so you can play your favorite character no matter what server you play on.
Who is invited to this event: Any Amper who has a toon level 35-50.
Where do we meet: We will gather up at Pocket D.
Date(s):
July 13th, 2007 – 8pm to 11pm EST
July 14th, 2007 – 7pm to 10pm EST
July 21st, 2007 – 8pm to 11pm EST
Screenshots will be VERY welcome after the event is complete. There might even be some prizes involved for some of the best Screenies.

The following are the list of events…
Bash’n some alien skulls! - We will go to the rikti war zone and battle agianst the rikti forces, we will be attempting to get into the crashed mothership. After that we will do missions, level of mobs wont matter as it is only on test server. (Note: Level 35+)
Saving the world! – After that we will form teams, number of teams will depend on how many people show, and we will do the Co-Op Strikeforce/Taskforce (Note: Level 45-50)

Cool, is there any chance we can get the Devs to bring Ghost Widow and Sister Psyche? That would be awesome. Oh also I think they are already trying it out because my lvl 34 tanker got ambushed by a mob of lvl 50 Rikti soldiers and had to run like heck to the nearest police drone. How do I know they were for me? They followed me the entire way to the police drone.

I'll talk to the other staffers, and we'll see what we can do, cause that would be fun to have the devs help us. And as for the rikti ambush, you got me there, they may have random ambushes every so often, not sure, but i've been told they are probably gunna make the ambushes lvl restricted, like say for mercy or atlas, the rikti will only be lvl 1-10 maybe, to make it fair, so the lower levels dont get pwned, so it may have just been someone elses ambush, but as i said, im not sure.

The test server is still closed for Beta testing. We would have to wait until they announce that the Beta phase has ended and the test server is open to all players.
I think we should do it two weekends after Beta finishes. i.e. if it finishes on a Tuesday, not that immediate weekend, but the one after that. That should be enough time and notice for everyone that wants to participate to get the test server loaded.

We're gunna wait until it is released on test for the players, and i agree with big, it would be better to wait a week or 2 because it will be very busy, sure it will still be busy no matter when we go, but it's better to wait, just incase there are problems.
