Hello,
I am willing to start playing City of Heroes. Unfortunately, I do not own an international credit card, therefore I cannot directly pay (subscr iption fee). I wanted to know: Is there's another method of payment?

There are time cards you can buy, but I don't know about their availability in your country.

I'd check NCSoft's website to see if you can mail them a money order or send them a check, although I'd be surprised if that were possible.
Also check the local gaming stores for timecards.

Gamecards are probably your best bet. You can try looking for them online or visit your local gaming store, discount outlet (Wal-Mart).
However, you can try looking into a prepaid credit card. Not sure what country you're in and the availability of them. Basically, you just put money upfront into the card, and that's your spending limit. You can keep adding money as needed to the card.

First of all: welcome to City of Heroes ánd welcome to City of Heroes GameAmp!
I think you can pay with PayPal, not sure though. What country do you live in? Most of the stores have NCsoft Game Time Cards.

Have you given thought to game time cards? That is what I use because I do not want to use credit cards. Time cards are good for a month at a time.

That's not really a correction. They have both one month and two month cards. I can't find anywhere around me that carries the two month cards anymore. The one month cards seemed weird the first time I got one since it comes in a DVD case rather than just a cardboard box.

I heard somewhere that they were going to phase out the two month cards with the game specific boxes. 'Cause all NCsoft time cards work with all NCsoft games, but the box art representing a specific game leads people to believe otherwise. So they're favoring one month cards with a package that emphasizes that it works with all games to encourage people to use them and to reduce the cost of printing all the different boxes.

Welcome to Gameamp!
As for your question: Do you have a bank account? Most Debit cards now carry a Visa or Mastercard logo, and can be used to pay the monthly fee like you would a credit card. As long as you have the funds available when it comes time to renew, there should be no problems using a debit card.
