just kind of a survey

So when i first started almost two years ago now a friend got me into City of games. And i started on that server likewise my friends that i play with play on that server cause i do. After Discussing it over for a few weeks i had the idea that maybe if you guys pinned a server overview at the top of each server's forum it might help others out.

for example.

Virtue - this server is a heavily RP'd server don't expect anything you say to be taken seriously unless you use brackets or parynthesis (()) or [[]]. However if you are into role playing this server is for you.

Triumph - this server is the home to many of the players and members of the Game Amp website and a good group of people to get in with this is not a heavily RP server, but if you enjoy meeting new people and discussing and playing the game come join us.

and so on and so forth.

just curious what everyone would think about something like that?

I know i have been using the site since i started and if i would have known that my server was heavily RP'd i would have chosen a different one. cause i for one am not a role player but i am not against it. it can just get frustrating at times talking to people lol.

so what do you guys and gals think?

I like the idea, the powers to be will prolly end up putting it on their to do list.

I'll look into it. Unfortunately, all of the comments about the servers are "unofficial" so it's hard to say which is which.

Perhaps one thread in the general forum might be more appropriate and easier to find.

Maybe if we title the post like "Some things to expect on Pinnacle" or "The Unofficail summary of Liberty" or something like that so that it is not necessarily like set in stone that these servers are labeled this way. And the summaries or over views should be written by those who belong to the Server and Enjoy that server. For instance I should never write up a summary or overview about a Role-play server, cause while i am not against RP'ing, i don't RP myself so my summary would be biast in the wrong direction.

Or maybe like a thread that is like "I like Justice because..."

just some ideas to kick around.

The idea is good; however, except for the things you have already mentioned...

Triumph - Official GA Server
Virtue - Role Play Server
Freedom / Virtue - Most heavily populated

I have never heard anything else about any of the other servers that distinguish them in any way. The only comments I have ever seen about the other servers tend to be just one hero's subjective opinion.

Yeah, I agree with Electro. The idea is great, but most servers don't have any specifics except for the three items mentioned. I have played on several servers and have never really seen much difference between them.

Victory is the unofficial home of the GLBT community.

Freedom was the server that all the beta people got to save their names on, thats why it became the most populated.

Guardian: Excellent, most people are nice and helpful.
Champion: Somewhat good environment, you tend to solo a bit.
Infinity: I learned some weird stuff here at higher lvls, not gonna lie, these people are pretty out there!

lol I'm a moron! I even made a tranny tank once.

I don't think it's a question of anatomical possibilities. I'm pretty sure the Bi refers to what peaks interests, i.e men and women.

Tri could be anything, but I really think we've gotten off topic juuuuust a tad here :)

It's not a flaming parade of gayness or anything, it's just that the GLBT community tends to congregate on that server. Most of the special events that are run by the GLBT community are run on Victory. Most of the major GLBT gaming sites have their official groups on Victory.

It's not that everyone there is part of the GLBT community, thats where the GLBT community tends to go.

Also, before you get too freaked out and whatnot, a lot of the members of this site as well as a staffer or two are members of the GLBT community as well.

Now back to your regularly scheduled topic.
