| What has happened to Sportsmanship? |

So this is the Double Faction towards your Titles weekend, and I've seen many more people in AB and FA. Most of today I've been playing FA, and things were going well. Then with the last game, we were horribly disorganized and Kurzick had 4 Bonders. Now I've got nothing against loosing to a better prepared enemy but what really pissed me off was one of the players on our team.
He started complaining about how badly we were loosing, then complaining that "OMG ALL THESE NOOBS ON MY TEAM, YOUR MAKING US LOOSE!" I told him it was just as much his fault as everyone else's, nobody's perfect. He fires back that "Well I'm the one with Well of the Profane!" and then "None of this was MY fault, you guys messed us up"
At this point the game ended. He really just made a bad game that much worse. People seem to think theyre perfect and its everyone else's fault they screwed up. I've seen this in RA and especially in AB recently. Every game it seems you either get a dozen leechers or ragequiters.
I mean, What has happened to sportsmanship nowadays?

You have 2 things in Guild Wars:
~ Individuals
~ Masses
Individually, people tend not to do totally agressive cause well... it makes you look dumb, like in a small group/clan or something.
In the masses, what can restrict someone from anonymously acting all hot-shot and it's never his/her fault? Nothing.
Best option is to just leave the person be, and if he/she excessivly curses, make a report of it so the person in question probably gets a nice lil' cooldown time.
Nothing more to do about it, with so many people running around guild wars, its best to stick with people you know a bit, and IF you have to be around total strangers, ignore what they say save for maybe a few tips.

Don't you know? The weak losers need to make themselves feel better about themselves if the BLAME EVERYONE ELSE FOR THEIR FSCKUPS!
Man, if someone is willing to make up for their goof ups and want to work to correct them and take responsibly is worthy of my respect for them.
And I like to think that a lot of people are the same way when it comes to giving others respect.
As for that kid, well... apparently he never learned that term, 'sportsmanship'

yeah i've seen this a few teims as well,calling his team a bunch of n00bs,
-you can tell right there is aint a great motavator from the start.
-but yeah its might be becasue of the competition of faction between the high ranking ab guilds. still not right of him.
-there should be like a 3 min idle= kick -1k faction or somthing like that,may as well kkick him if he aint gonna ffight.

Aye, well Zema happens to be in my guild, and he knows how we handle in the event one of them hot-shots blames all but himself XD
Ah well, i just ignore such people generally, its fun seeing them whine.
Last time i had one guy whine and whine in AB telling us to ''CAP CAP CAP CUZ UR AL N00BZ HURY UP!'' and like that, got tired of his whining and found him standing idle pinging things all over the radar, so i managed to get some Kurzicks chase me, and guess who i passed while fleeing from the Kurzicks. Him ;)
Was too funny for words seeing them slaughtering him while he was still typing his next whine, too much fun XD

Although I agree with everything this topic has stated before, sometimes the people are truely noobs. Not everyone is good. I've seen somone in AB tell everyone to mob. I don't know about you but I call that noob. I think we should all try to get them away from GW, since we don't want to work with those people.

Buuuut, i can tolerate noobs, and its easy to spot them, usually i'l whisp em or something telling them what it's about and how to do it, problem solved.
However ''experienced'' players, although knowing how to play the game, tend to just blame all others instead of actually doing their part in the battle :P

Alternative Punishments =]
I like your thinking. Maybe we should get things like that:
Luxon: Feed him to the crabs.
Kurzicks: Feed him to the Juggernauts.
Of course your idea ain't that shabby either.
Point is, it's like hackers and such, everyone hates them, nobody understand why they are doing it, everybody wants them gone but still they are their and, unfortanute, they'll allway's be their (but that doesn't mean we can screw 'em up as much as we can).
Edit: It died with the first Rage Quitting.
