So I finally got Photoshop and I was up all weekend learning how to use it.
I'll submit my first piece:
I'm going to start with mastering text before I move on to the more advanced stuff.

Thats pretty nice work Houston, Im sure you would even make Ol DF jealous with that masterpiece. Very cool indeed. I like the resonating effects off the letters.

Nice work, Houston
There are so many things you can do with text I still haven't discovered all of them.
I will say that layers are the big thing to work with and once you get them down, everything becomes easier.

Question(For Bigspeer): I'm makeing another sample and this one is turning out harder then I expected it would be. How do I merge two seperate images?

You could flatten the layers, but I'm not real sure what you mean by "merge". Layer mask maybe?

I'm pretty sure you mean a layer mask. You can either search for "layer mask" in the photoshop help screen or look up a simple tut like this

I think the hardest part about making siggies is getting the initial idea to pop into your head.
After that it's usually pretty easy.

Yeah it's Photoshop. It took me 3 Straight days of reading to learn how to do it.
Go to your profile, then account information, then scroll to the bottom and there is a big box titled "signature". You can add all your info there.
