I've searched thottbot and Wowhead, but the only places I can find Jewelcrafters is in Exodar and Shattrah and a few other places.
Why are they so rare? I'm in Stormwind City area and I have to travel all the way back to Exodar to train?

Its because JC was only released with TBC so there would only be trainers in exodar/shattrath, sucks but not much you can do about it =/.

There is an artisan trainer in a tower in the area outside of Stormwind. I think its called Azoras tower or something like that. If you travel out of Stormwind to Goldshire, then head east along the road its about half way down on the left side.
The master trainer is in Uldaman, which is an instance in the Badlands, but you dont go inside the instance hes just outside in the cave somewhere. I would not recommend going to this one as you need to basically clear all the baddies outside of the instance.

Hmm, I was just in Uldaman the other day with my lvl 60 rogue. I was clearing out the areas quite well solo. That was, until I tried to mine some Iridium and it aggroed half the daggon dungeon down on me. :) Of course that was pretty far in.

Oh lol but at level 60 you shouldn't have any problems... unless you aggro half of the instance lol
