| Okay my first farming build. |

|
Hello this is my first Guild Wars Solo Build.
This Build is intended for W/Mo, Soloing in Hard Mode in the Area of Old Ascalon.
Intended Prey: Hulking Stone Elementals, and Grawls W/O a Healer. It is also possible to kill the Hulking Stone Elemental warrior boss as well.
Special Needs or Must haves: A Sword w/o a zealous mod.
(You really don't need much for this just Max armor and any old sword will do just fine I've started using the Crystalline Sword from presearing, yes it really doesn't matter.)
Skills you'll need:
How this works:
Okay first once you get outside with you skills and and everything set up cast Balthazar's Spirit. What this does for you is every time you get hit you regain 1 energy and you gain additional adrenaline. This spell is the staple for many builds out there.
Now wait till your energy has risen to it's max then cast Retribution. So after those two spells have been cast you now only have ten energy and no pips of energy regain. This spell like in many other builds it's only purpose is to deal damage.
Next Argo a group of three Hulking Stone Elementals. As you gain energy and Adrenaline cast Zealot's Fire followed by Vigorous Spirit. What these two skills do for you is every time you cast a spell on your self Zealot's Fire will deal damage to the enemies around you. Vigorous Spirit is simply just to heal you every time you attack or cast a spell.
After doing that you should be low on energy(but you will be regaining it quickly) now wait till you can cast healing breeze, once you get the chance cast it followed by Bonetti's Defense. What this does is it serves a triple purpose. The first being energy regain, secondly it helps you avoid being damaged and regaining more health, and lastly since you earlier casted Zealot's Fire, Healing Breeze also deals damage to the foes around you.
It's important that you keep the enchantments up. Granted most of them last up to 10-30-60 seconds. Which every time you cast Vigorous Spirit or Healing Breeze it not only heals you but it also hurts the enemys around you. So if your running low on energy try to cast Healing Breeze followed by Bonetti's Defense.
Now when ever you get the chance to use Riposte do so. It's really random when your fighting multiple monsters who the damage goes to but their all going to die anyway so who cares?
Finally the Distracting Blow can be used for taking down the Warrior stone elemental Boss I think his name is Pound Cobblestone or something. Only use this attack on his Healing Signet, this can turn out to be a long battle but once you get into the swing of things it becomes easier.
So far I've only used this build for a couple of hours and the only thing you really need to watch out for is when you have Zealot's Fire on you any additional spells that deal damage against your foes is considered AoE and will cause the enemies to runaway from you but they will run a very short distance and come right back to you with little or no heal regained.
Heres some pictures of me being kinda proud of myself for making my very own solo build that uses almost the bare basics.
EDIT: Never mind the boss I kinda forgot to go ito hard mode and that why I could beat him lol.
EDIT EDIT: So instead of distracting Blow put Thrill Of Voctory because it's another damage dealing spell and you should always near the end have more heal then your foe.

It looks ok but it looks really slow, when I farm these I prefer to use the W/RT VWK build. It usually kills them all in 2 casts of Vengeful was Khanhei

You can post builds in the Forums, maybe post in Profession Specifics instead? I guess this counts as Battles in Ascalon though.
Looks like a good build, but slow. If I were you, I'd work on modifying this or making a new build to farm a location thats less known or one that doesnt have as many builds for it already.

Well this is my first build but I've just rechently taken a group on of 8, it got hairy but I got through it, yea its a bit slow not the fastest thing to walk the earth but as I said earlier I'm just starting out.
I think you might beable to take on the minaotres with this in the northern shiverpeeks.

I also have a W/Mo build but its prolly worthless now as i used it when i hadnt got many skills... but i'll tell you it anyway :D It's for farming Minotaurs in Northern Shiverpeaks out side Ice Tooth Cave.
Attributes:
9 Axe mastery (I use Sup axe rune)
9 Heal Prayers
10 Tactics
rest in strength
Equipment:
I use any old axe and tactics shield with max Defense req 9 and i used to use 4 max armor and 1 non max but i now use full max, either will do.
Skills:
Triple chop [E]
Cyclone Axe
Endure Pain
Dolyak Signet
Vigourous Spirit
Mending
Live Vicaurously
Bonneti's Defense
Usage:
Ok start off by casting mending on yourself wait for energy to come back to full and cast live vicorously then you should have 10 energy with no regeneration pips.Turn right and agro the minotaur that are running down then run away from them and agro about 3 more groups of minotaur. When you have 9 or so on you start using Triple Chop and Cyclone Axe when you can use Bonneti's Defense and wait for your energy to recharge to about 18 then start using triple and cyclone again and repeat. when they are all dead go onto the clearing and face the Horse thingys i forgot their name
cos i havent plalyed for a week or so.
you can kill them easily if you go after the healers first, then the rest. Then go up the hill to face the minotaur there, when you finish them the run is over. It's short but if you have patience its easy money :D if you want you can hunt for more minotaur but watch out for those mesmer spider thingys i could handle around 2-3 more than that is hard.
If anyone wants to see a test run then just ask me and i'll be happy to.
P.S. Im not entirely sure if this works in HM as ive only tried twice and only 1 worked... i'll need to do more tests on it. i'll update when i have more. And also if this is in the wrong place i do apologise as im newish to popular forums.
