Just wanted to know if anyone has any super cool game movie intro to post, well I have lots but I think my favorite one would be Diablo 1 with no doubt. One of the darkest movie intro imo it really makes you feel like your part of the story it's dark and scary and it has a really good story behind it to ^^

Hopefully, but since Legendary Pictures seems to be working on WoW movie, I would find it hard to believe that they would do both. Also they had posted Diablo as their "under development" project but they removed it within 24 hours and kept WoW, so it's both "nay" and "yay" ^_^
how id love to see a movie on diablo2, damn sight better then any garbage wow movie they'd make since wow's storyline is non existant and diablo series is perfect for a violent and gorey movie.
also the "dark wanderer" in all of those act cinimatics is the hero from diablo 1 who had absorbed diablos soul stone into himself only to be taken over by diablo.

how id love to see a movie on diablo2, damn sight better then any garbage wow movie they'd make since wow's storyline is non existant and diablo series is perfect for a violent and gorey movie.

Maybe he meant that it's not as a good of a story as Diablo :(
In my opinion I like Diablo's story better it's darker and very Gothic, something more believable and serious. The warcraft movie to be a half decent movie at least will have to follow some of LOTR steps, but improved and with more action, since in my opinion LOTR really really lacked the huge battles like when Gandalf fights the Balrog that was awesome but short :(
Also add some really nice spells special effects, like a mage conjuring a huge fire ball, anyways whichever they make let's hope it's not like the D&D movie lolz

But yeah the balrog fight was short... as was everything. It just couldnt be longer though and it didnt bother me. Except for gandalf vs witchking.. which was a shame, especially if you saw how long the wedding of Arwen and Aragorn took (/yawn.. Was cool.. but after like 3 hours you could barely sit trough such a scene :P)
anyway dwelling offtopic :P I do feel diablo would prob make a better movie then warcraft.. I like it more. Warcraft certainly has a strong storyline though. :)

I should have rephrased that, I meant more special effects in the fights like Galdalf making it rain ice or fire or something like that, the battle scenes without a doubt were huge with lots of people but it lacked some spell casting ^^

Hey no being mean to mitch. He was very right. He probly just didnt know that the "movie" is going to be based on Warcraft. (I didn't know either) Diablo would also make a muuuuch better movie than warcraft, hands down.

I very highly doubt they would put out a crappy movie, they want to make money youre right and if they put out a crap movie it WONT make money.
Also you have a VERY strong opinion for not knowing very much about the movie at all...
You may be right, the movie may suck hardcore but what can we expect about a movie based on a VIDEO GAME! I mean really video games based on movies almost exclusively suck...based on that track record. But without knowing ANYTHING about the movie none of us can make any absolute assumption without looking like fools now can we.
All I'm saying is that there's plenty of lore to choose from. Whether that will make it a good movie or not isn't certain, but saying that warcraft lore is non-existant is a bit.. well... not true.

haha yeah MK did, but you are right there is a lot more lore here to choose from than they have had for other game based movies, we shall see what they do.
Resident Evil was AWESOME, I loved them both and cant wait until the 3rd comes out. And I believe that was based on the game, and Tomb Raider is one of my FAVORITE series of movies! But those are DEFINATELY the exception of Game ---> Movie.
All im saying is dont get all hyped up and closed minded either way that it will be good or bad before we know who wrote it, who is directing it, what studio is releasing it, who might star in it...an OFFICIAL trailor maybe...ya know the goodies.
OMG I LOVE Resident Evil games. Im playing 4 atm. Its a bitch. But they're making a rebirth of all the resident evil's for the Wii. Its got the 2 people from the very first Resident Evil, 2 people from 0, Leon from 4 & 2, Cassandra from 2, and a couple others. And yeah the movies are awesome too.
