lag was so bad for me i wnet in the last int district, got d/c 3 times,then when i went ot eng-14 i was grand no lag.also if there are any other programs in the background you should close them,bar essentials.
thats all i got,hf

Ouchy. All i can do is sympathise, altho i've rarely had lag problems in GW i feel sorry for those that do, can definitely put a downer on an otherwise nice weekend event.

JESUS it's so depressing...i was playing gw this mornin at around 4am and I had NO LAG AT ALL!!!
I strongly believed that it had dissapeared forever!!
but then, just now when i woke up and wanted to play a bit...i get my 12k ping again with red dot. GREAT

stop complaining ... We know it is lagging, try to live with it... They can't fix the server with a map travel and "click OK here". It's not that easy. Several companies have to work together to solve this matter. This'll take some times, and yes this event is very lag, because of this server matter & the cassual holidays lag. More people play, so more lag. That's it.
Edit : and if you rly have such a big problem with the lag, stop playing GW for some days, but don't bother other ppl with it.
And yes, I have lag aswell.

Lag I could live with...it's the d/cing that's annoying me ^_^ trying to get some victory tokens for me and a friend, can't even stay connected long enough to leave Shing Jea...and before anyone asks, there is nothing wrong with my internet connection. Ideas, anyone?

you were up at 4am playing guildwars -.-
and tbh this event was a waste of a perfectly good weekend when another event could be on.
anet are getting lazy. also i dont think we should encourage events like this

there is nothing you can do. You can only wait patiently till the server issue is solved. Do something else :) There's alot of stuff to do outside Guild Wars.

Oh, I know there's stuff outside Guildwars. That's why I'm getting tokens today, had RL stuff the rest of the weekend ^_^ just I need to get these tokens before the event ends is all. Took me nearly 2 hours to get 240 tokens, now I'm waiting for this visit to finish. I have patience. I think. ^_^

My lag was terrible just before the evnt but on friday it sorted itself and i've had gr8 pings and no lag since.
