Ok guys, i want to change my e-mail for logging into guildwars, so i click change mailing address and i get the PlayNC page right? so i go to that and make an account but everytime i try to add an access key for the game it doesnt work it says invalid key even though im reading it straight off of the paper so i cant change the mailing address etc.
Does your PlayNC e-mail have to be the same as the Guildwars e-mail etc.
Any help on what to do to change it and get my keys to work?

I'm sorry to tell you, but you can't change your e-mail for logging in. (At least, that is what I was told)
You can only change your password for logging in.

Edit account button solves all your problems ;p
just fill out everything.. Changing email adress will change the log in. You have to confirm it from both email though, in case someone who shouldnt be on your acc, is on your acc.

You can change it, but an email goes to the old email account for confirmation before it gets changed.

That, or you have to wait 7 days, before it will change over,if you don't confirm. Atleast in my old experience anyways.

One of my friends on GW was having the same problem (although I think he was trying to change his password). In any case, you need the PlayNC account linked to your GW serial code. I don't know if he ever got it fixed on his own or if he contacted support. If I were you I would e-mail support with your problem and, if anything, they may have you reply back, sending your serial so that they can add it to the account. Although, I really don't know... I will try to check back with my friend if he ever got it working on his own or if he got support to do it (as he is off now, I will try to remember to check to tommorow).

Just to let you know u will have a hard time changing you e-mail, i wouldnt bother if i was u, unless uv got hacked ect.
Right my boyfriends account got hacked, he wanted to change his e-mail addy for log in (The hacker didnt change his password fortunately, just took all his money and items ect.)
He thought he could do it the same way as u, but no, he complained to Anet and asked them to change it for him. Thay requested that he has to send through, by fax not post, proof of purchase and the CD-key used, he also have to tell them the e-mail he wanted to change it to.
They said to him that 'this is a one off', and that they 'don't change the e-mail addresses'.
I had to fax this information through to them and guess what.... several times there was an error, this want because of the fax machine it was because they gave him a dud number?!?
I'm not moaning or anything i just beleive that this could have been solved a bit better, we weren't bothered about having to send the stuff out it was because they gave us the wrong fax number.
Ahhh iv had my rant now terribly sorry :/

It's not that hard to change your email address....like the guy said waaaaay above me you can do it once you've logged in via the "Edit Account" Button on the bottom right of your game client window right after you've logged in.

i dnt have a clue why they told my b/f to do that then, uless they didnt have that option b4. But im being serious that was what we had to do lol.
Ahh i had misread post, u have to do it from both e-mail accounts old and new. Unfortunately the hacker change the password to the old e-mail, therefore this was the problem.
Sorry for false interpretaion.

Ok new problem then that i see, the screnshot you posted with the edit account area on it has a change e-mail address but on mine i dont have that... is there a reason for that or something? i find it kind of weird but im not quite sure?
Heres the screen i get on edit account...
How do you fix that?

If you do not have the change email option in GW, then you have most likely at least logged into the online store. If you have logged into the online store, then you GW account automatically linked up to the account you used to log into the store.(also known as your PlayNC Master Account)
To change your email, you will have to log into your master account on the playNC website, and change the email there.
I had a similar problem when they had passwords linked to the master account....I had to get with GW support and get the account name I created for the online store(which is the same as you PlayNC Master Account).
