Weird thing with a guild..

One of the officers started putting up his Rt builds to chat. I told him that another restoration elite would of been better IMO. Then other officer started flaming me that "We know that! Why are you telling it to us?" I told him that I meant it for the other officer who puts up those builds. Then the officer which posted the builds started flaming me for copying what the elite does from wiki. I told him its faster and i didnt mean anything bad about it, just told my opinion. Then they both started flaming me that which gives me rights to tell my opinions and told me to STFU and leave the guild if i didnt like it there. Thats where i got little confused and decided to leave the guild. Is there something i did wrong or am i beeng the "victim" here?

I can't see that you are doing anything wrong especially if they were using an inferior elite. Seems to me like you are the victim.

I personally would never stick around in a guild you cant be yourself in. Dont worry about being labeled a leaver or a ghost. Your gaming experience is whats important.

Also, simply leaving a guild over a dispute about a build isnt a good reason to leave a Guild.

However...

All joking aside, when things get escalated like this, its the responbility of the officers to step in and stop things like this from happening. Any Guild that tolerates bad behavior or sits on the sidelines while their members are going at it like isnt a Guild! More like Jerry Springer.

If none of your former officers or the Guild Leader hasnt contacted you by now (to apologize). Then you know this Guild thinks very little of its members.

Anyway, you can always apply to Game Amps Guild, or try one of the other guilds posting around.

Definitely do not feel bad over the fact some people are close minded. And have no class. I have a potty mouth myself but sooner or later I come to my senses.

Anyway good luck and shake it off. Its a new day and youll find a better guild. Just ask Joey.

Sound's to me the guild's not worth joining, im amazed at how that officer behaved but it's not the first time i heard of it.

If as said before the leader, officer(s) or actually the guy in question hasn't whisped back, leave it. just leave the guild and forget about it, such acts are just idiotic for a person especially someone covering the rank of officer, shame :(

I'd say check out each guild for about a week before ''settling'' in, so you can know if you actually found a place you like or not, and hey, Good Luck with your search ;)

Maybe the officer didn't like that fact that the wiki build was better than his, at the end ot the day your were only giving soe advice and that was it, ur obviously the victim.

I dnt care about what ppl think about me, they take me who i am, good on you for leaving the guild m8 :D

Off topic:
i wish there was a templete channel, turn it off and you cant see any ms with templates in them..some alliances flood then changing th names to sentances like "yeah"" sup"" thats a bad idea"

Erm.. i don't see the major point in it, and i dont think ANET would even bother implementing it so alliances don't have floods of templates anymore, its called ''order'' and somebody in that alliance should be able to maintain something around right? If the place is flooded with nonsense and build spamming, and there is no-one to even stop it... it's not even meant to be an alliance.

Im not saying it should be all die-hard discipline, but cmon... you think ANET's going to pay up for a way just because an alliance can't keep some of its members in check? I doubt it.

Good Luck with finding a new guild btw, and remember to check out first then stick around later, you don't want to do anything to help the guild and run into trouble the first days, scout around ;)
