My girlfriend plays guildwars occasionall she shares an account with me and justs want to run through prophicies.
Mostly she's been ok with soloing or henchmen so far, but shes getting to the point where she needs to groupw ith actual people.
So i'm wondering if you all could help me make a build for her.
She plays an E/mo
all the skill need to be from proph, or Really easy to get from NF (i dont have factions)
She is kind of slow, uses the mouse for everything, so the type of build i'm looking for is a very low pressure (meaning you dont need to pay alotta attention)
support/heal hybrid
i was thinking like warder with heal party and draw conditions. Maybe ward against harm and ward against melee, or like heal party and Lod, i dunno any suggestions ?

Why dont you try Searing flames spam build? Im not a real ele wiz, but i seen others being ''mouse heavy'' with GW's, preferring to click the skills rather then using the numbers, Searing Flames stuff doesn't require much, save that you might want to put Aura Of Restoration up once in a while, in battle the charge times of each skill's make it a click+combo move, instead of rapidly going over the screen.

Well my favorite earth build that I have been using lately is this:
E/x (secondary varies for which rez you want ^^)
Stone Daggers
Ebon Hawk/ Earthquake(if u feel the need for knockdown)
Sandstorm (E)
Eruption
Ward Against Melee
Ward Against Elements/ Ward Against Foes
Earth Attunement
(any ressurection you want)
Basically this is a simple crowd control build to use. Set up wards around the casters which makes the healers job easier and also the Ward Against Melee might blow some distracting skills the enemy may be using. Use Sandstorm on attacking foes (mainly melee) followed my eruption for additional damage and blinding then follow that up with Earthquake (if you brought it) to prevent them from running. This should kill most foes and it is easy to use.
I love this build and hope you will too.
You may not want to use this one beause Sandstorm is later in NF and I'm guessing she hasn't really explored NF yet. So good luck finding a build!

I use the mouse to activate all my skills (drives Balth crazy), and the build I used in Prophecies was:
Fireball
Rodgort's Invocation
Meteor
Arcane Echo
Aura of Restoration
Fire Attunement
Elemental Attunement (E)
Res sig
But the problem with that is not a mes ^_^ echoing Rodgort's was the damage of this build really, so I'd suggest subbing Arcane Echo for Immolate, and Aura for a monk skill. Or, if staying alive isn't a problem, Phoenix ain't a bad skill in lower areas. (oh, and the attunements can be swapped for any general energy management skills that you have if you don't have elites yet.)
Edit: my air build is mostly prophecies as follows:
Elite of choice
Lightning Orb
Lightning Strike
Enervating Charge
Blinding Flash
Air Attune
Glyph of Lesser Energy
Res sig
I usually have Lightning Hammer, but that's Factions, so I put in Lightning Strike, nice low energy spammable skill. If you don't have an elite, monk skill might be nice for some healing.

Support/heal hybrid guys...not damage/damage.
Glyph of sacrifice
Maelstrom
blurred vision
light of deliverance
Heal area
Heal other
Glyph of lesser energy
Ressurect
12 water 10+2
12 healing
9 energy storage
The concept is to use glyph of sac+maelstrom when there are a lot of caster foes so they will either scatter or get interupted constantly. Then you throw blurred vision on the rangers and warriors. Heal other for when she sees someone really close to death. Heal area when she and some allies are getting hurt. Light of deliverence when everyone is hurting. Res for when people die. Glyph of lesser energy is just for management.

Its not thats she slow (unless shes blonde, just kidding) Its the fact shes probably not a gamer and isnt use to the UI or the mechanics of any game.
You should ask her to use the keyboard shortcuts: to call targets for henchies to focus on. And the "C + spacebar" for closest foe makes attacking easier then clicking. "V + spacebar" for closest ally which is good for those hard to reach NPCs that u need to find in Proph, if you get close enough you can just press this and the character will auto walk to NPC. Another useful shortcut command, is "U" for mini map. This is a must for navigating, she probably gets frustrated with the compass as is it sometimes misleading. Toggle Mini map on and off when necessary. Mini Map is way better than following the compass.
Eh you probably already know all that but you should ask her to use it. One final shortcut key is "F10" This opens up the Help Window and shows Everything. It shows where youve been, skills foes used on you. Links to wiki to explain about your skills, links to quests and mission you have in your quest log etc etc.
For the build, it would be very helpful to know where she is currently and where she is heading. Then everyone could suggest Elites she can cap or skill quests she should do immediately.
FYI:
Using snare hexes on Casters like the Musraat is not the best idea but using an interupt spell like Malestrom is better! Blurred vision, Mind Freeze, Ward Against Foes is good on melee characters like the Stone Summit, including knockdowns. Knockdowns dont work on Hydras, if she is facing other Elemental Foes, go with that Ward Against Elementals and Ward against Stability. And use Monk Extinguish Spell to remove burning from Fire Imps (Oh wait Extinguish is Factions, NVM).
Also if you use fire alot, add Mark of Rodgort for that nice finishing touch.
If your at Sanctum Cay, have atleast 2 long range spells equipped like Firestorm for the Towers. and I also suggest equipping "Glyph of Elemental Power" for increased damage!
Overall an Ele should not be a backup healer or healer. Eles should do what their designed to do and deal damage. Henchies rarely heal well or deal alot of dmg, so if shes an Ele, she should Nuke or Spike. It will make the mission or quest far easier for her rather spammin heals and wards to protect the team.
Also an ele using a Heal Build is not the best way to make friends in PUGs. Ive seen Ele Bonders but usually with people they trust, never seen a Ele Bonder in a PUG.
Finally, if she wants to feel like an Ele shes gonna need a good weapon set that gives her 50 energy or more. Preferably a set that gives her 80. There are some Wands and Focus items you can from Collector. Be sure to tell her to salvage any Mods from weapons that she might need.

Unless you got an elite tome handy, sandstorm will be a bitch to cap for her.

Also dont forget with the exception of elites all skill you have available to you can be unlocked in PvP then bought in the appropriate chapter at the skill trader. So even if the skill isn't available until later on in the game once unlocked you can buy it at any skill trainer for the chapter (or use a normal tome).
I bring this up b/c there is a double faction weekend coming up and it would be a great time to do some RA, and unlock a bunch of ele skills. Elites can also be unlocked but you will need an Elite Tome to get them on your PvE char
As for builds the SF build is pretty nice and easy to use but unless you have an elite tome available it is about halfway through the game so not a easy find. I would recommend a fire-based build based around Rodgerts invocation, Glphy or lesser energy and liquid flame. YOu would want to throw in at least one quick charging skill maybe immolate + glowing gaze for some additional energy management. Of course I would take Fire attunement and possibly aura of rastoration if you are using hench healers. Then throw on a rez and you have a build. Normally Rodgerts isnt available until later on in the game but using the unlock trick you can get it early on, its a very powerfull spell with a decent recharge (specially if you echo it)
Good luck to your GF and as always have fun.
