I know that there's been a bit of discussion about ping throughout the last festival but I was away on my holls and I missed it.
Anyway I wondered what other people are getting now, for me this is an average:
In fact while writing this post my average ping has risen to 4,477. Considering that I'm in Euro 1 Gate of Anguish at 09:30 on a weekday I'm sure there shouldn't be so much lag especially when my connection is running better than it has in months!
I'm on a 2meg package with Tiscali.
Anyone else still having troubles? Post your ping.
I'm also introducing a new term: rdod - Red Dot of Death!

One of my guildies couldnt even go out of town for some reason :S
His connection was so low, i think he may have also been on Tiscali, not sure.
But when i tried to help him he come up grey in the party box but was talking in guild chat :P lol he said he was still in town :S
A lot of other guildies also has a lot of lag during the festival but fortunately for me i didn't, only when doing AB but this is usual :)

I have actually had "lag" like 5 times in my GW gaming history of 2 year. And those been about brother using the same connection for downloading some stuff.
Guess i can consider my self lucky. :)

this is my first lag, and i play the game for 13 months now.
my pings are around 5000 atm, but before the lag is was 150 or so :(

My latest ping was 15,000.
But i think that problem wasent anet's fault.
my average ping usually is 20-25 but this half year it has been on 100ms, my internet operator is crappy i am going to change after summer.
Sorry for the bad english.

My baddest avarage ping was over 4k during those laggy days..
..and i got 10mb cable connection...
it was unbearable/unplayable.
luckily its all behind now..

Mt ping aint that bad,some days i get d/c a handfull of times thats it, im with BT, with a 1 meg connection

AAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
I've just been trying to send ANet a support ticket....
I can log into my ANet account, I can check my game keys and I can no doubt spend cash in their store but every time I try and submit a ticket it asks me to create a new account.
I put my account email in the box and tried to use that but it told me the email was already in use...so I try and log into the My Stuff tab with the same email. It tells me that the email doesn't exist.
Anyone else have this kind of trouble with Play NC's help system??

yeah,
when i tried to change my password it wouldnt let me,
i put my game code and all that malarky in and it just said it didjnt recognise it, then when it had the option of finding it for me it just came up invalid. so after about 20mins of clicking the same button in frustration i gave up...
i feel your pain man, i feel you pain. maybe someone from anet should have a look at that

ive had a 13k , but mainly its been green sometimes orange , even when my brother isn't on the other pc which is unusual.
is the festival thing over yet cos people were saying that was causing it?

I dont think the festival caused the lag, but ofc when theres alot of people in same area at the same time there will be a bit slower.
Think its the servers that "lags"

its so odd to hear that all people had lag. i didnt experience any besides some minor conncection issues. but then whe do pay a small fortune for our internet connection. also i havent been in the festival area besides getting some tokens for my hat. is it really so bad all this lag and what could be done. i also read something in the gaile gray thing posted by kanna. well i wish everybody NO LAG so everyon can play as supposed

I avg. around 140. Frankly I've never had a problem with GW lagging except when other ppl are soaking up my wireless bandwidth :P

For the past couple of weeks, I've been reading on forums about players getting bad lag in Europe, and getting messages in-game about it. It wasn't affecting me, but I've had horrendous lag in the past, especially around special weekends and festivals.
Today, the game has been completely unplayable for me....
I'm based in England, play on Euro servers, and am now joining the chorus of players screaming for this to be sorted out!

Well my ping is curently 78.And during the event it was only lagging in the when you zone into the chance games or the monastery. after that it was fine.

My old PC used to hit me with 3,000,000 Ping (Seriously).
This Computer: 131 Ping All the way.

This was as I loaded in from the char select screen so it doesn't really count but it's a good one anyway...
It leveled out after this to 3500 ping and my usual 60ish fps.

my freind just came on, she said her average ping was 700 and it took like 5 minutes to load an area,
she is from england too seems to be the same issue,
tried to get more information but she went to do something else cos it was unplayable.
She said mIRC showing 50 ms.
at the moment im on average 117 ,

how long do you think it will take A-net to solve this problem ?
I can't play GW, for example, i tried to reach a portal to consulate, but i just teleported back to the armor crafter in kamadan!
i tried it for ten minutes, then i just logged out

Ok then...post your SERVER IP ADDRESS if you're having lag issues. I want to know if the people having trouble are on the same server as me.
I always connect to 206.127.146.49 - Anyone else on here?

3800 when I loaded into Elona Reach from the character select screen...leveled down to around 200-300 afterwords though, on a 10mb/s connection.
