Ive been working on the survivor title for my ranger (currently 300k exp) and I was wondering what are some "safe" farms I can do.
I have been FFFing so far but that gets boring, i still plan on playing through the game, but im kinda curious what farms there are out there, that could help spped the process along.

If Im not mistaken, isnt Survivor at 140k XP (Level 20)?

^^ Correct, but there are 3 tiers to the survivor title,
1. Survivor 140,600xp
2. Indomitable Survivor 587,500xp
3. Legendary Survivor 1,337,500xp
unfortunatley i suck at survivor, so i cant offer any real advice, but gl in getting there! :)

Looking through Wiki's survivor page, and seeing as you are a ranger, you could do something like this guy:

But of course, as this is farming and for this you must run past a few enemies each time, you have to be careful. Simply capping would speed things up as well - just bring cap sigs whenever you go anywhere and check wiki ahead of time to see what elites are where you are going (assuming you have the money to cap the skills ;P).

Capping Elite skills would definitely speed up the process as they award 5k exp each. You just have to be very careful in watching the patrol patterns so you dont get overwhelmed. Thats how I lost my title at 240k :(

thanks guys, im starting to work my way through nightfall, so i should be able to farm "Battle of Turai's Procession" soon

Really just avoid "Hard Missions" and Damn!! Dervish bosses -.-, use Hero Monks to bond you.
I Managed to Complete NF with my Ranger without dieing its not so hard, but some missions you gotta know what kinda Damage your dealing with, I can't think of the mission name but its like Gate Of Pain I think, the TerrorWebs do extreme amounts of dmg.
As risky as it sounds the way I got around it using a Hench party was to "Protective Spirit" myself and take the first few spells then send in the army :) (EG: Devona)
Also on last NF mission use the Ritualist Weapon Of Remedy + Vengeful Weapon to get the Masters very easily.
P.s: When in doubt, BAIL OUT! ;) (I don't mean quit)
P.p.s: It was a Dervish Boss that end my chance of getting the 2nd Title of it.(I was less than 500xp away)

That quote from Guild Wars Wiki was actually made by me. My Ranger simply played through the game (albeit very quickly) to get to Battle of Turai's Procession. I capped only one elite skill because I honestly feel that capping can ruin your chances if you're not even more careful. In thirty six hours I had earned Legendary Survivor. Honestly, you could do it faster if you REALLY wanted to push yourself.
By the gold scroll that gives 250% exp and ends if you don't kill a boss for 5 minutes. Activate it before you kill the first group of Margonites in the Battle of Turai's Procession quest and you can get up to 30,000 exp in about 8 minutes. It's wonderful and if you mess up and aggro them (in normal mode - because it's safer) you have three or four run skills to lose aggro before they can even damage you. Honestly, there's almost no risk to this method.
Builds can be found on YouTube or Google.

My advice would be to do it in NF, use the double xp blessings you get from scouts. Youll keep getting these bounties until Castellan. Arjok Ward or areas next to it are perfect, little risk and bounties for all plants, cosairs and other stuff. I stay away from the beach bcuz the foes there cast hexes, conditions and elemental dmg.
After u stop getting bounties for Sunspear Points, head up to Vabbi to Mirror of Lyss. Pickup bounties from Whisper Informants for killing elementals. Start from Dzagnour Bastion and killing the 5 or 6 patrols of Djin and Ethers. This is alot more risky, but if you equipment your monk with heal party and heavens delight, your hero should easily compenstate. Take out the Djin that uses Searing Flames first. And remember the Ethers use Rez Signet which I think is funny. Because I've been in some Pugs who never carry a rez. The hardest part is not lagging, I died on Friday the 13th recently just 50,000 xp or so from Indomitable Survivor. Lag from the bonus weekend and just plain bad luck killed me.
Tips:
It always a good idea to flag henchies first.
If you experience any lag, do not take a chance.
Use xp scrolls on Missions
Use double xp bounties from scouts in NF
If you can find real people or guildies to help you
Health Runes are a must!!!
You dont need self heals if you have a monk just hex or condition removal. Go pure damage.
Ues a longbow and stand on higher elevations this will increase your range, and use shortbow if you get surrounded (faster rate of fire)
Do every single quest, even the hard ones! But always evaluate your risks and go prepared for anything.
Last but not least always have a backup plan if all else fails. (Its a bad habit of mine to resign whenver i get in trouble.) Its much easier and faster to keep your Guild Hall open and just zone there. Do not stick around if your health drops below 70 percent!

Well i'd like to start off by saying "GL". I'm pretty new to GW and currently Have Nf/Gwen so i can help you with that. My first char was unsecseful in geting survivor. But my second char "Ranger Locksley", acheived Survivior and went on to acheive Indomitable Survivor. I have an icon on my Desktop that auto-logs me in, and my older sister logged in to play and My char slots were full so she deleted my account.(=S) Well after some bad times and words, I have just started back on my new Account "Zealous Asura" to start on the Journey to LEGENDARY SURVIVOR.Well sorry about talking so much but i like too. I PLAN to acheive this by the following...
Play through NF doing all quests and acheive lvl 10. Make sure you do not agro groups when you dont have to.
Once i acheive lvl 10, i will go to GWEN and work my way to Gunnar's Hold(easy enough). I remind you that i will be lvl 10 but will have the "buff" which will bost my hp to 500.
Once in Gunnar's Hold, Do the Quest (i forgot name sorry) where you help Kilroy fight way to Fenris(i think thats his name). This is the quest where you use the Brass Knuckle things. Whenever you run out of health,you get knocked out,and loose no lifes. Whenever you get knocked out simply click on the STAND up icon and push "8" on ur keyboard repediatly till your energy bar is full. This makes you revive and you continue.
This quest is repetable and is a good source of xp. I can get atleast 30k xp an hour here, and it has some lockpick drops. If you use the xp scrolls you will achieve Legendary survivor in no time.
