Looks like a pretty good system. When buying a pre-built system, main concern should almost ALWAYS be the video card.
Since it's a Media Center Edition, you should be in good shape, though. However, proceed with some caution...is the vid card upgradeable? Many times, the prebuilt systems have a mounted video card and NO means to upgrade, if you find it necessary.
Also, I'd be a bit wary of Vista at this time. I've heard a few players mention that it's not all that CoV-friendly.

Thanks for the info.
Not many options out there for a system without Vista...I know RonJ says he has it and has made some modifications to make it work nicely....so, i'll trust that he can help me as well :)
And I'll definitely look into the upgradability of the Vid card.

NOOOO!!!!! Don't do a prebuilt they always suck. They load tons of programs that you don't need or want and it slows down the system. I find it's cheaper to get a barebone kit and buy the rest of the parts you need separately and put it together yourself.

Yeah, the wife already took care of this issue :)
All the unnecessary programs are being removed as we speak and CoV is being loaded as well...hopefully, by the time i get home from work I'll be good to go and back in the game!
I would like to try the building a PC from scratch concept one day, but i don't have the savy nor the patience for something like that...lol. Maybe if I had the time and someone with the savy had the same time, maybe one day i'll look into it...

I'm back in action and ready to rumble....
It literally took all day long to get the game loaded and mess with this Vista crap...then had to remember how to set some graphic settings ingame...
But, I am back and with a new found vengeance!
If I knew the colors looked so great before, I would have upgraded my system years ago...lol

Well, didn't have a choice with Vista...tried to avoid it, but with my limited knowledge of PC building...i was at the mercy of the manufacturers.
But so far, i'm happy...didn't get a chance to play much last night (as didn't get things straightened out until Midnight) but, from what i saw and played (once I fixed the FSAA) was a WHOOLLLEEE lot better than what i've been experiencing in the last couple of years.

Well I have been searching for a new PC aswell and this is what i found, looks pretty good to me.
# Intel Pentium D Processor 915
# 2.8GHz, 800MHz FSB, 4MB Cache
# Genuine Windows Vista Premium
# 1024MB RAM Memory
# 160GB Hard Drive
# Dual Layer DVD ReWriter Drive
# ATI Radeon Xpress 1250 Graphics
# 9-In-1 Media Card Reader
# 7 USB Connections
# 2 PCI Slots
this costs only £249.99 but with no monitor, so I found this:
# 17" Viewable Screen Size
# Widescreen
# 8msec Response Rate
# 250cd/m2 Brightness
# 500:1 Contrast Ratio
# 1440x900 Maximum Monitor Resolution
# 375 mm Height
# 407 mm Width
# 210 mm Depth
# 3.7 kg Weight
this costing me 99.99, overall costing me ONLY £349.98!
Think this is ok, and also any problems?
Toonage!
Hero of Paragon - Level 50 Defender - Empathy/Electricity
Blazer of Paragon - Level 50 Controller - Fire/Kinetics
