i was eyeballing the polls for new scrapper/tanker powers. what would street fighting be. just like boxing type powers? for some reason i cant view the results what were they?

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the results as well. I would guess that shields were likely top for the defensive set and I seem to remember something about a pistol scrapper set? Maybe I just dreamed that but that would be alot of fun as well. As would psionic shielding as a defensive set.

My guess is street fighting would probably involve a few different weapons, knives, crow bars, brawl type moves, possibly a short range pistol.

I don't think that would have been the case. Switching weapons (especially that amount) for every power you do takes a lot of time, you know.

Just a shot in the dark here but my guess for street fighting would probably be somewhere along the lines of a combination of Super Strength (fist animations) and Martial Arts (kicking animations) sounds lame but that is what i expected the street fighting set if that won (which i don't believe it did) to be.

Street Fighting is not about being a thug.
It's just some kind of brutal Martial Arts.
Atm every MA Hero fights like some Ryu clone not like Batman.

Sadly I think that some weaponpower will be the winner of that poll.

i thought that the street fighting or the ball and chain sounded so much fun. i didnt vote for them just because i figured they didnt have a chance of winning. i voted for the Psionic sword. thought that would be a cool power. so will this "new" power be for tankers and scrappers or just either or.

Not exactly, the weapons could just magically appear out of your hands like ice/fire swords, theres no draw time on those they just pop up in your hands.

Actually, Back Alley Brawler just straightened that myth out. There is no difference in activation times, regardless of whether or not you have the weapon drawn. The attack animation will be shortened if you have to draw the weapon first, but the actual activation of the power remains the same.
