Just about anything else can go with it, but other than EM, the most i've seen is SS/Elec, theyre pretty good, and stone melee/Elec is also good too.

alright i have many many many/ele brutes out of all of them my ss/ele and ele/ele are my favorites ele melee does massive damage and is a lot of fun and ss is awesome cept for rage drop

yeah my ele/ele at lvl 50 out damages ss its just how you use him only bad thing is lightning rod takes a while to recharge as foot stomp is up every 4 secs LR is the biggest aoe ithat i have seen and does a lot of damage the higher you get the better it is.

My main is a Stone/Elec brute on the Victory server named Sothic. I have respec'd him 4 times to get him to where he is and make him a PVP toon. He is now level 50 and I can honestly say I have never had a toon, personally, that fought as well in PVP as he does. Stone deals more damage than any of the other sets but with the offset of less accuracy. When you first start out you will have to have 3 accuracy enhancements in each attack followed by 3 endurance reductions until you get Stamina at 20. I built Sothic strictly for PVP, so the only attacks I took from the Stone Melee were Stone Fists, Stone Mallet, Heavy Mallet, and Seismic Smash. Take Hasten and SS from the Speed set, Combat Jumping and Super Jump from Leaping, Aid Other and Aid Self from Medicine, and Kick and Tough from Fighting, and you will have a well rounded PVP toon that won't break a sweat in PVE outside of a few EB's. Swan, Lumina, Manticore, Synapse, Back Alley Brawler, will all go down without a sweat. Mynx, Ms. Liberty, and Positron will require a Shivan escort. Anyway, good luck!

Yea, when u get to GV one of your contacts sends you to Dr. Creed, a simple "talk to" mish. When you click on him, Crey try to ambush you. LOL Not a good design, lvl 51's in Mercy. Hope they didnt get you dude!

Well Arrius, when I was a lowbie someone did that to me so now I deem it a rite of passage. Though I did take care of two of my mob, I placed the other two in hold with Electrifying Fences and then flew back to the Black Helicopter Line. And if some lowbies did die, as I did at lvl4, they dont get debt yet and, as you can see from the thread, it gave some people a certain amount of amusement. And if you're not having fun playing, well......

Small problem with your logic there....you DO get debt at level 14...Debt starts at level 10.

Where's the fun in leading the ambush away from the lowbies? i think it's funny when high level mobs spawn in mercy, and lowbies try and run past or are just a little too curious, and get squashed like bugs.

I'm sure that if it would happen to you you'd be rather angry, because walking all the way from Fort Darwin to Mercy itself is quite a pain, especially when you get killed by level 50 mobs when you're almost there.

Anyways it think its funny watching high level mobs rampage through a lowb zone. Saw some 35 crab spiders rampaging through mercy when hell was a lowb. They ran right beside me, not interested in someone so weak at the time it seemed, id give tem a run for their money now though

not to specifically single out Aurrius (cause in all honesty he has been awesome in replying to my posts with info that i asked for and it is really appreciated) but:
ambush
A disposition or arrangement of troops for attacking an enemy -* unexpectedly *- from a concealed station. Hence: Unseen peril; a device to entrap; a snare.
I only feel the need to point this out to everyone after recently having another gamer proceed to lecture me about ambushes as I waited and waited and nothing showed up so i moved on and when i left then they came after me. and it killed his lowbie. Honestly most of us understand that there will be ambushes here and there and expect them but i am sorry i am not going to wait in one spot for the entire nite until the GM's decide to throw one at me. with me they got like 25-30 secs to make an appearance or have something pop up in my chat box, then i am out. if they appear after, talk to the GM's about it not my fault Crey or the Council or Trolls, decided to stop at Mickey D's on the way to ambush me. Other than that i have no problem taking on my own ambushes and will gladly do so.
now back on topic:
I like EM/Elec i have yet to get one past 24 but i still like the short high burst dmg the best but that is just my style.
should change my forum name to "Captn Can't Wait" lol well if you met my RL friends you would understand i come by it honestly lol
