Now, I just got my new PC and since i had to put it in a certain place...I had to go with a wireless connection.
Now, the game runs great, but I get disconnected from Mapserver here and there...
Is this due to the wireless connection that i'm using? anyone know???

probably, i run a wireless connection too, from what i hear it's alot easier to lose connection with the wireless connection, since it's wireless. but for some reason when i had dsl, it rarely to never disconnected, but now im living with my girlfirend, and she has wireless connection, but has comcast, which suxs, i lose connection all the time, sometimes i feel im fixing the connection more than im using the internet and/or playing the game. Any ways, gratz on getting your new computer.

Not that I know much about wireless connections, but if you have a way to select which channel you are on...make sure you pick 1, 7, or 11. They are the only 'dedicated' channels as I understand it. The other channels sort of bleed into each other. If you have neighbors that are using wireless as well you may want to check with them and make sure they are on a different channel then you. If you are both on the same channel then you might be competing for bandwith which could cause you to lose connection sporadically.

Wireless does have that problem often, it's good for browsing but not for gaming or anything else that requires steady streaming information. If you want to go wireless and have a good gaming experience then you need to look into a better wireless router and a better wireless card for your PC. Another option is switching to a hard wire instead of using a wireless connection.
