Hello everyone. I was hoping someone could help me with a little problem I am having. You see I am able to get to my characters list but when I try to play the loading bar stays at 0%. I tried repair install, I tried defragmenting, and when I did the "-image" trick it started downloading over 48,000 files! Like it was downloading the entire game that I already have installed. I could just let it run it's course but unfortunately it would literally take over a week to finish. Any help is extremely appreciated.

First: WELCOME TO GAMEAMP!
On topic:
I think its good to just download those files. Other thing to do if you still can't load maps, is deleting .dat file. Yes, that involves more file downloading :D

iv had this same problem recently in the European server, so i switched region to America and it joined the game perfectly cause apparently the eu server was suffering from lag issues according to support page. gl gettin this sorted :|

The only thing that I can suggest is to start the files downloading overnight using the -image command, and then you'll hopefully at least have 'broken the back' of the downloading. You may then be able to load some areas, and then some files will be downloaded whilst you are playing through streaming. Then, before you go to bed, set the -image command again. Hopefully this should get the process done without too much disruption to your playing time. Good luck! ;-)

It many hours but it worked, thank you all for your advice. It was shorter than I thought only 11 or 12 hours I think, Oh well at lest I won't have to go through that again.

Nope, well, not at least if you do it after every update. It really does help. ^_^
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons...for you are crunchy, and good with ketchup.
