Pink Armor (Still needs help)

I have Woven armor on Proh. I been trying to change it to the color pink, but its not working. I noticed on other websites it says that different armor types have different effects. I'm wondering if anyone knows the dye combo for making this armor pink. I tried white and red, but it makes my armor look purple. X_x

First off, Welcome to the site.

Now for the armor, I would just try several combos with white, red, and maybe silver dye. Seeing as you can preview the armor first just keep putting in different combos.

Purple and red does not work and I been spending a lot of money on dyes and nothing is working.

Thanks for welcoming. Kinda just join cause I been trying to figure this out for weeks now.

Now I been told that the dye preview is darker than its suppose to be. So how am I suppose to know what is what then? Can someone set this stuff straight? What is what exactly? X.x

A good pink dye combo for cloth-based armours is purple+orange, or purple+orange+orange, and variants on that.

The problem with the dye preview is not that it shows it darker, but that it only shows it in one lighting environment, whereas guildwars has many different lightning environments, depening on which area you are in.

Doesn't work, the first one looks like a dark purple, second looks like a really weird darkish red.

I saw someone with 15k kurzick dyed pink they said it was Red+Purple...

That would be in the past. Now all the armor have the neutral "color" grey aka White and Black mixed into a blance 50/50.
As many people stated the only combination of I know is silver+red.
I have an old link to a dyechart about it. Perhaps it'll do you some good.

Im not 100% sure but I think gw dye works a little like real dye, you can't mix something 50/50 to get say grey from black and white.

To be honest, some monk armors dye very off now. Before the gray base update, my Luxon could be dyed a bright pastel pink, afterward it became a liver color. I bought brand new armor and dyed it teal instead.

The Woven might just be just one of thsoe armors that dyes funny, and the pure pink you're looking for might not be possible. I have a set of both 15k Woven and 1k Woven, neither of them are dyed pink :-(

This is the only Pink armor that I could come up with. It is Purple + Orange.

Since the dye update, I haven't been able to get a good dye mix anymore. =/

This might not work because of the update, but here's what looks like a good pink to me:

Purple + Purple + Yellow

If that doesn't work, try:

Purple + Red + Dye Remover

If it works, glad I could help, if not, just keep trying! I'm sure you'll get it eventually.

All I gotta say is that this sucks. I can't farm, the monk armors in this game look retarded. X.x' Now can't even dye them into anything but like the color purple. Blaaah.. This is becoming a waste.

I can try that, but I got really no money to buy white dye now. XD The reason why I said the monk armor in this game sucks its because its only guild wars I have. From what I can see, compare to the other guild wars games. This armor pretty much does seem to suck. You can even ask anyone else in the game about that as well, lol. I have been playing only 24 days, beaten the game already and now been told I need the other games to farm. Well that's nice to know? If I do get another game, who's to say they won't change the farming in that one? I don't see why they did it to the first one. It makes the game seem not worth getting the other games due to thinking they might just cancel it, so you'll have to buy even another game. X.x'

well if you're a monk make a 55 and farm hydras or undead in hard mode. I've made about 250k off undead so far.

55 Monk does not work. I spend forever getting the build for it and then I couldn't use it. So, I got another build and it don't work. Got another build and it works, but trolls don't drop anything. So I kept using it anyway and now that build does not work. I just gave up on the whole farming deal. Nothing will work it seems.

I do not have the shield of absorption. I'm not sure where to even cap that and actually have no money to buy one. >_<'.... It's becoming hard to find parties these days. I get called a very good monk in my groups all the time, but if another monk around they will just stop doing everything and pretty much lets us die. Cause of the whole mana regen thing. Since there are points in the game where you really need more than just one monk.

Have you made your way through the game? If so, you may want to try just clearing zones in Hard Mode. I find that this is a great way to make some money.

You really only need to be level 20 to use hard mode, so consider trying that.

I just made new armor for my monk. Went with Ascalon Armor from Factions for the retro look. (Starter anyone?) I got a nice pink with purple, yellow, orange, and silver.

Other combos that have worked depending on the armor type is:

Purple and yellow
Purple and orange
Purple and red
Red and white
Red and silver
