Is the gaming world ready for Commodore? Better yet, is Commodore ready for the gaming world? They think so, strutting their stuff at this years E3 with Commodore’s gaming PC.
It has been more then 20 years since Commodore hit the market with its first PC which was a success. Although the company fell apart in 1990’s a UK company acquired the name and is about to take the PC gaming industry by storm.
The Commodore PC will come in four models; Commodore G, Commodore GS, Commodore Gx and Commodore xx ranging in price from roughly £1,759 ( roughly $3530 U.S. dollars)- £2,899 ($5,820 in U.S. dollars) . The specs for this high quality gaming PC are outstanding and offers gamers the best performance for their buck.

As it stands you can purchase one of these amazing machines on the Commodore website but in store sales are not expected to begin until later this year. Also included in the seemingly endless package are a few bonus features:

yep, these were shown off at E3 and I told Meredias to get right on it for you guys! They might not be as pretty out of the box but they will DEFINATELY roxzorz!!!! The Commadore guys got their sheit together with this and the machines are lightening FAST! They are faster than the other quad core machines IMO, I have used multiple ones now. Then again I use the 2.4 and I got to see the QX6800...so I would hope for the extra $1000 it would be faster! I am looking forward to seeing what the company does with this. And I hope it will be successful!
And hey you can always paint your box or have a company do it for you, my laptop is custom painted and my tower has stickers and stuff all over it advertising my favorite sites, and sayings like "Guns Dont Kill People, Magic Missiles Do" lol.

lol Dru, ummmm while your at it i was thinking maybe you could get me one too?....you know...if you feel like it ;). but yea i want one of these bad boys too...my comp was great.....3 years ago...but now its time for a new one....if only these tuition fees weren't holding me back!

Those specs are mad!! The price isnt too shabby either ;)
The only pointer i would make out is that is not a single game out there that will make these specced PC's sweat any. Sure 6 months ago the top end PC would run just about DOOM3 with all adds at 1600x1200 with some decent frame rates. But 2 x GTX8800 would just chew DOOM for breafast and spit out C&C3 while its at it.
Personally unless you are a COMPLETE and utter hardware freak, these things are top notch and good for the money. For the average gamer or less dont bother splashing the cash just yet, give it 6 more months and these things will be like half price :P

If you say 1$ = £0.50 you wont be far off.
It fluctuates around that mark, sometimes higher £0.50 - £0.60, but thats just the easy way to work it out.

You notice I said finds credit card with $5K on it...lol.
But yeah I am a hardware junkie, I have my 2.4 gig quad core, 8800 gtx, and i think my mobo is the 600i, the 680 used in the new comadore above wasnt out yet, neither was the 8800 ultra, and alas i only have 500gb hd, not a terabyte, but I only have like 150 gigs filled anyway LOL. 2gig ram and a crappy sound card, its like 5.1 digital soundblaster audiology, I could use a new HD one. But I do have an AWESOME 30 inch HD display! so that makes up for it! (yes I will go blind!) And of course awesome keys and mouse. But I have multiple computers and laptops in the house so I play on my crappy laptop with a crappy video card and that works fine too, just cant play wow, answer posts on here, have AIM and Itunes up all at the same time like I can on my desktop lol.
Either way I HIGHLY recommend anyone getting a quad core as soon as they can for gaming then upgrading other components as they get the money, you will not have to upgrade for like 5 years if you get a quad core IMO.
