I have realized that aiming with LG, is very different then aiming with shock. When I am using shock (primary) I know to do small ovals to move and then throw in a dodge once in a while. While I am using LG though I really dont know how to move, I know the double jump move when my opponent is spamming and double jump over spam and hit with lg. But in a hitscan fight when should I try to hit with LG.
I have also noticed that from watching demos that good players seem to move their x-hair really smoothly with lg, but move it quicker when they are using shock, is this true?

weapon switching isn't fast anymore, but try to set up your LG shots with another weapon. launch someone into the air with a rocket or flak shrapnel and then whip out the LG to finish them off. or shots where you're waiting for someone to pop out from behind a corner, or generally shots where you aren't trying to hit someone who's strafing around trying to shoot you back.

The LTG doesn't fire in the same way as the shock rifle... it has a delay in it, and some other oddness. I don't know the technical mumbo jumbo around it, but lotus does maybe he will stop by and explain it.

just play on 1.6beta8 servers. If it's in your crosshair when you pull the trigger, it gets hit.
None of this wierd fricken voodoo of "lead them sometimes, don't lead others" and people dodging your lightning AFTER you pull the trigger.
