| Need help with a few questions about not working vanguard. |

I am a new player having just bought the game, iv activated my account and when i log into the game I arrive at the character select screen and the background is blank with a few fire animations in it and a message at the bottom of the screen displays "Waiting on data from".
When i click create character, all that is visible is the facial hair of anything i try to create.
Please i need urgent help trying to remedy this as i am really anxious to start playing.
Also when i create a character i was wondering which server is best to choose.

Hello Count, welcome to Gameamp!
I wonder, did you go over this thread with system specs?
I'd really like to know where your system falls, as it sounds a lot like your textures aren't loading properly.
If your system is reasonably up to date, it may have been caused by a download corruption. Try getting your client to do a full scan. You can initiate one when it's updating by clicking "View Details" then clicking "Full Scan".
Which server would be good depends on what kind of gameplay you prefer. We're merging soon to 4 servers
Servers
* There will be 2 US PVE, 1 EU PVE, and 1 US PVP server.
o Thunderaxe, Woefeather, and Gulgrethor would merge into server A PVE
o Targonor, Hilsbury, Flamehammer and Shidreth would merge into sever B PVE
o Tharridon, Varking, and Frengrot would merge into sever C PVP FFA
o Gelenia and Infineum would merge into server D EU PVE
o For Florendyl we will be soliciting feedback via a poll and discussion as to whether or not the players think it should be merged.
