I have just come back to Guildwars after being inactive for around 8 months (lol). I went around the different games, Lineage 2 mainly, which i have to say is a cracking game, but it takes too much time to stick at it.
So anyway, logged into GW, noticed changes straight away, just general ones, id seen a few of them when id logged in once or twice in the last few months, mainly the visual presentation of it.
First major one i noticed, although i noticed a long time ago when i popped on for 5 minutes, is the character select button, which i had hoped they'd introduce for a long time when i played before, rather than log out, log back in, to change characters, so thats good.
Second one i only noticed today, and i have to say "OH MY F*****G GOD", is the increased storage vault. That has single handedly given me hope on coming back to the game, since i had several characters full of stuff that needed sorting, and now i have a full 4 page storage vault. I had wished for a long time when i was playing regularly that they would sort out the storage, as it was pitifully small for a 8 character player. I have say, well done NCSOFT.
(All they need to do now is increase the material storage to take 1000 of each material lol)
Of course there are some changes i dont like, most of which happened i played previously (the various nerfs that affected farming, as i was a heavy farmer), but i wont go into them, as we'll just end up with another nerf-hate thread lol.
I have noticed that the drop rates have fallen through the floor, ive seen this mentioned on a few threads, and this does get to me slightly. The other is the drop in prices of upgrades, bearing in mind i had two full character inventories, chocka with upgrades, which now, arent worth as much, but hey ho, you cant have it all lol.
If anyone agrees/disagrees/just wants a chat on this subject, feel free lol, need to talk to some GW players again, get back in the swing of things :)
Ben
PS I am also looking for a guild now, i did run my own before, but went inactive, got kicked, but nevermind.
So if anyone wants a veteran GW player, (who is slightly rusty), in their guild gimme a bell (Falcor of Rillanon). I have 6 lvl20 characters, most of which have finished their respective campaigns (Ranger, Monk, Warrior, Necro, Ritualist, Dervish)

Welcome back. There are many more excellent changes other than increased storage. If you say you are a big farmer, you're going to want to check out Hard Mode: some of the best farming there that has ever existed in this game.

A lot has changed recently, you'll probably want to check Wiki or the official site for info on all the updates.
