Any ideas for a scrimmage mesmer ?

Hi,

What mesmer/x build u think would be great to pwn another mesmer in a scrimmage (1 vs 1) battle.

I'm quiet familiar with anti-melee mesmer builds or anti-caster builds but a Me vs another Me often turns out into a stalemate situation.

All help and ideas appreciated :-)

Imagined Burden
Conjure Phantasm
Phantom Pain
Images of Remorse
Power Drain
Power Return
Drain Enchantment

That kinda thing. Degen them and run. If theyre using secondaries, enchant removal will stop them healing.

Ye, been browsing pvxbuilds already to see if I can use some build.

The prob with both ur suggestions (IMHO) is when the other mesmer uses his hex breaker twice well timed or use some other good hex removal skill to make ur own hexheavy build kinda useless.

Also if he wud manage to put backfire on u u'd cast urself to death. Been thinking to use Power Block to prevent the other Me using most of his spells but if ur really unlucky and just prevent some non-attribute linked spell it wud be wasted :(

Anyways, good to see some nice and really good suggestions ... keep'em comming plz :)

inspiration=8+1
smite=12

Sig of judgment
bane signet
signet of rage
banish
hex eater signet
mantra of inions
ether feast
symbolic celerity (?) - makes sigs cast faster
purge signet

For pure damage a fast casting fire Ele is fun. Use Sunburst and some other close range skills. Just gotta get them off before they but Backfire on you.

You could also make illusion weaponry mesmer, with some covering enchants and shater hex if you think that u get some hexes on you :)

Shatter hex is nice if you cast it near foe ~100 dmg is nice.

Or u can make protective spirit with offensive hexes so you won't loose much health while under backfire.;)

BTW, if you want some fun take spells witch will steal opponet's spells and skills ;) and disable his elite ;)

If the mesmers good then IW taht fast casting fire and all those will not work. U would need a balanced build that can counter any build.

Take an interupt, and like Golden said take hex breaker deffinately. Shatter enchantment is a good thing to take. Once u got hex breaker an interupt and shatter u decide how to kill them weather it be degen, them causing the dmg (Backfire ect). Test out a few builds on other people and see how it works out.
