I posted this because...
I need a way to get to level 50... FAST!!
I'm having trouble picking archtypes, origins, and power sets.
Need very fun power to play with.
and a few other things.
Plz post, I really need help.

I have most enjoyed blasting and tanking, I have just recently got into the Scrapper AT and am loving the uber damage.
As far as powers go, I like fire. Its fun to burn stuffs. Energy blaster primary (for the "Get outta my face badguy"), Elec blaster secondary (looks wicked cool) and Wooo Hooo, I am liking claws an awful lot lately.
from the def and troller side, I have had a lot of fun with RAD and Storm. Fun powers, great debuffs, and animations are way cool.
Funnest ATs is a personal opinion, try rolling a few different types and see what tickles your fancy.

Funnest AT and powers is based pretty much on the player, i prefer Emp/Rad defenders Fire/Fire tankers, or Fire/Kin controllers. But it is an opinion answer :)

Empathy Defender...almost every big team is looking for some healer.
Just go with all the blinds you get spammed with and you should get tons of xp in no time, without ever going to your own contacts.
You asked for the fast way to 50, not the funnest.
=P

Well, if you are looking for relative ease on the way to 50 then I'd suggest two routes... build a character for solo play so you aren't dependant on teams or build a team character to take advantage of big team bonuses. If you want to dmg and fly solo, go with a scrapper (I like MA and claws/regen and super reflexes) or a tank (also known as a scranker) that is based on dmg such as a fire/fire or anything energy melee.
If you want to ALWAYS find a team, go with a defender. Healers are always in demand so Empathy is team guaranteed but really difficult to solo. Radiation defenders are also very useful in any team situation. I personally have been having a lot of fun with an energy/kinetics defenders... has a kind of blaster feel to it. Basically, go either the support route (defender) or the unitool route of high defense/resist and dmg (scrapper). Just my 2 cents.

Well, if you wanna do the fast route to 50, then just go with an emp defender :-D
For solo play, I recomend anything/Regen Scrapper. They can solo a mish easily!
Im currently rolling a Fire/Kin, and so far it has been INSANELY hard to level. I actually did 17 levels, then got bored of how low DPS he did and stopped, then I did a bunch o' TFs and mishes to 34, and now i can solo entire MOBS of baddies!
So, if you think you can make to lvl32 without dropping the character, I would highly suggest Fire/Kin, everything after lv32 is easy :-D
But if you don't find that to be good, try a Scrapper, Earth/Earth Tank, Ice/Ice Blaster, Mind/FF Controller, or even a couple of the other Defender primaries.

Each of my 50s has a reason for why I play them. My tank is for when I just wanna run through mobs and smash their faces in while taking little damage. My scrapper is for when I wanna tear through them at high pace, and take some dmg too. And my troller is for when I wanna return every mezz I've ever gotten.

What you find the most fun character to play is for YOU to decide, not us.
I, personally, found my Claws/Regeneration Scrapper the most fun toon to level up to 50 (on the Heroes side).
On the Villains side I still like my Energy Melee/Electric Armour Brute the nicest.

This is a true statement about the empathy defenders. I have a level 38 full empathy defender that doesn't see much action anymore. I used to be able to log onto Das Carrot and get an invite right away. Now I don't see them quite as often.
My Spines/Regen Scrapper is currently 37 and I can solo or team with that toon. He is a joy to play and very tough.
Let us know if you need help. Join the Gameamp global channel and when you log on, put a request that you need a team. Most of us have toons on all the servers at different levels. I am always willing to team if I have a toon and the time.

Just curious why you "need" to get to level 50 fast? There is nothing magical about achieving 50. Sure, you unlock Kheldians, and they are OK, but CoH is all about the journey, not the destination. It is almost bittersweet to achieve 50, IMO. Sure, you are proud of the accomplishment, but I also experience a sad feeling that this character that I have built over 400+ hours of gaming is now going to sit on a shelf to be taken down rarely, if ever. I say, try a bunch of powersets and AT's, stick with a few you like, and enjoy.
