Well, GW:EN isn't a stand alone-game like Nightfall and Factions, it's an expansion of Prophesies. Therefore we don't know if there even will be an "end" as such, or if it will just contain new repeatable areas, such as the previously mentioned dungeons. If this is the case, I doubt there will be "end-game" items as such, as it is only an expansion and not a full game.

i believe there is a storyline revolving on missions, if so its reasonable to assume that the storyline ends at some point, and there will be some end game area.
Whether or not they'll reward you with rarer weapons or armour as per Factions/Nightfall though, who knows.
The story is supposed to be a lead up to GW2 so you never know.

i would like that but i agree with sister.
id like dual sabers fer a sin. not like daggers i mean proper big swords like 2 foot longad curved.
that would be cool

I would assume that ANET would add end game greens (possibly ones styled from the Design a Weapon Contest). The end-game greens would be another incentive for players to finish (mission wise) EotN with other characters, so my best bet would be that there will be end game greens.
When the chips are down, these, uh…civilized people, they'll eat each other.

Hey Hikimi they already have those big assassin sabres its called Shiro's Blades......lol but i dont think there will be a end game special.What I think they will do is show a preview of GW2 or something along thse lines.
I need a raise..

Pretty sure it's just an expansion of guildwars, you can get it as long as you own at least one campaign, and it doesn't have to be prophecies. Anyway, I'm hoping there's endgame greens, that's one of my main sources of income.
