I want to play around with an Illusionary Weaponry(scythe)/Heket's Rampage build for my Me/R
Anyone got an ideas on how I could make this work?

well, why a scythe? i see almost no reason to use a scythe other than in PvE when your gunna hit multiple enemies
i would just use a sword
but idk what your trying to do

Sorry, I should have specified that this is just for PVE. I'd probably switch between Scythe for the multiple enemies and the daggers for singular enemy.

ok im sorry to say but as a mesmer u dont understand IW too well.
scythe: no, in pvp enemies dont really clump too much so...yeah no. also u lose the offhand spot which in IW is VERY helpful for either defense or recharge times
daggers: with 0 dagger mastery u'll hardly ever double strike and u dont attack faster than a sword and u lose the offhand spot
stick with the me/w sword warrior cuz then u can use defensive skills ansd still have flurry, it is FAR superior than not using skills with a little bit bor IAS

edit* didnt realize pve, well then id still not use hekets bcuz of the loss of skills, thats just me

I dont know what i was thinking when I said the thing about the daggers....sorry :)
But you're right. Me/w makes more sense. I just havent ascended my mesmer yet, so I was hoping to be able to make something out of IW and Heket's Rampage. I've done backline domination and Illusion, and I'm just not very good at interrupts, so I was looking for some sort of alternative.

Mo/W may be useful but I prefer THIS build whenever I set up an IW.
