after playing metal gear solid again, its made me want more from an online game, so i want to play a first person shooter (online) i was thinking of battle field 2, but i dont know much about FPS's and was hoping you could give me some insight thanx :)

Battlefield 2
Battlefield 2 is set in a more modern time period with life-like guns and such. Many sides to play on (I.E. China, US, ect ect ect) Has 3 expansions (Special Forces, Euro Forces, and Armored Fury) which are very good. I got an edition of the game that comes with all of the expasions for about $43 at Wal-Mart.
Battlefield 2142
BF2142 is set in the year 2142 in a second ice age. The sides and kits are very limited since it is a newer game, but about the same level of "awesome-ness" as BF2.
Both are VERY good games. It may take a bit of practice to get into the groove of it, but they are very fun games to play.

its a FPS
and alot of people (including me) play it

Yes, I do play both. They are about even on how good they are, but I would say BF2. It's a bit more realistic and more people play it than BF2142.
Make sure to tell me your name if you get BF2142 (no friends list on BF2).

i have to say i like 2142 better tbh. Just my opinion. rly depends on what ur into. I have to say tho, 2142 maps get rly boring. i still stick with it mainly because of titan mode :).
2142 Titan mode is an outstanding team game (Great for clan Practice)
