Ok the boys have bugged me until I have joined them in Paragon, so now what?
I basically know nothing about CoH so tell me, what class should I play? I like to play burst damage casters and healers. I like to run around and kill things....hmmm...what else...I dunno...HELP!!!
What should I focus on trait wise? Should I quest or grind?
I need the basic need to knows for CoH, and I will see you guys tomorrow in game, DUN DUN DUN!!!! (Or maybe I should be EEEEEVVVVVIL!!)

OK so u like to kill stuff fast is that it? well that means either scrappers, blasters, OR fire/kin trollers. fire/kin trollers REALLY satisfy ur craving to kill stuff and its REALLY fun so i would try that if i were you

Damage "casters" in CoH are blaster or controllers. Controller use the elements, as well as illusion and mind control, to make a target stop moving and acting.
Blasters use several elements as well as weapons like bows and guns, and they do massive amounts of damage.
Healing "casters" in CoH are defenders and partially controllers. Defenders empathy power pool, is all heals and buffs, as well mostly all power pools in the defender archtype have a heal or 2. Controllers secondary power is set is almost all the primary power sets of defenders.
Based on what you like to play I would sujjest making a controller, as they can kill releativly easy, get pets, and can buff, debuff, and heal.
Also some terms in CoH that aren't in other online games:
Tp=Teleport
Mishes=Quests
TF=Taskforce=Dungeons(Using WoW term for this)
And thats all I can think of now. Have fun :)

Ah more Blasters! Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! That Archery/Energy could be a pretty darn interesting combo. I haven't looked at the secondary effects of Archery in a long while.
Good luck Dru. If you need any Blaster advise just let us know.

I have an Archery/Energy Blaster and love it. Not a high endurance user and still gets the job done.

lol. I guess the secondary effect should have been a DoT like a bleed. I was just wondering if this combo could benefit from the Boost Power in the secondary.
The beauty of the Energy secondary is that you can actually skip some of the choices dependent upon the build. And still get really good stuff out of it. That's why I put a Fire/Energy toon together. I know I wouldn't need a lot of the selections from the secondary, so I could go heavy on the primaries.
Fair warning folks. Dru is a force to be recconed with on the WoW PvP gaming. Give her a little bit of time to get the game mechanics down and you better hunt a hole to hide in!

Man i sucked at PvP in WoW. i dont think i ever won a fight, but then again im not a fighter. Im far to good looking, cant mess the face up :)
