yeah i just put it on fastest bcuz...well its faster lol i always play full screen with no lag so..

dunno man, mine says 9 in game and out of game, try hitting auto detect (whill reset gfx) and just slide back to max gfx

yeah i just read somewhere that my graphics card is poop and that it can only support up to 8.1 so yeah....any1 know of a cheap graphics card that runs their GW and allows them to mod? cuz thats really all i want to do >.> and also i wanna be able to actually see the effects when im drunk cuz that doesnt work with dx8 either, so yeah in conclusion
any1 know of a cheap graphics card that runs dx9?

GeForce 4 MX runs on DirectX8, not 9. I have a GeForce 4 MX 440 and I'm on DX8 aswell, so yeah
Edit: GeForce 6200 are pretty cheap nowadays.

Aren't the latest drivers 94.24 forceware or was that not released for the older cards?

I had the same problem several months ago. Found out my video card drivers became corrupt...
Had to uninstall corrupt drivers, then use drive cleaner to remove all traces, and finally download the newest driver package.
That seemed to fix my problem. Hope you get your problem sorted out. I get cranky when my computer starts giving me attitude :P

They dont give attitude after a HDD wipe ^^ It's good for the soul.
You should check around a bit, or just browse the innernetz, just about any card handles DirectX 9.0 nowadays, and the prices are still dropping. I do have some tips if you dont want to be nailed where you stand:

Read that a bit, its nothing too technical IMO, but it does help you buy the right ''toy'', cause if you have no idea about what your buying... your probably paying more then the power you get for (in some cases)
