I love this site and the people here and the good things I can learn/pickup etc. But I don't really come that often because it's such a difficult process to weed through every forum finding the new stuff.
PLEASE add "click here to see new posts" :D TIA

edit: BTW, make it so you can use ALT+S to post instead of having to click the damn button. :O

The box on the homepage is fine as a quick preview, but if there's more than 5 new posts I have to go digging in each individual forum. A "new posts query" is what I'm asking for - something that'll query all the new posts since my last visit, or something of that sort. VBulletin has that sort of thing built in, and I think phpBB has something similar.

I agree. There needs to be some kind of new post indicator or listing of all the new posts, or all posts within the past day, or something like that.

I am still beating the powers that be with a bat about this.
I think the issue stems from this, this site hots several gaming sections, and thus there is a standard template. I'll get a second bat and start the beating again later.

What forum software is this? There may already be a way to just click a checkbox and get a "latest posts" feature or something.
