Hello everyone
I am at my friends house and he needs some help w/ his guildwars game
His name is Sahara Darkmoon
What is happening is of he darkest darkest decication of life
gw wont turn on

He can get to the screen where it is loading for the town then

we cant figure out the problem can one of u FABULOUS ampers and various people who ant so fabulous... wait were all no that fabulous most just scum

i know dumb question but check make sure he has internet running and all. if everything seems fine then just uninstall and simply re-install it. fixes everything :)

It sounds like your friend has a really crappy connection. Maybe check any firewalls that he may have, but other than that, reinstalling may work. Good luck

ok i think i may have found the problem...
his mom has 5 internet securities going at once...
omg 5 i use 1
so that could be the problem
also they never deleate stuff from his comp ever!
so this may be harder than origonally thought

sometimes i have people screwing up my computer lol
Try to open antivirus programs, and see if Guild Wars is in the 'accept list'
i once had this problem with Norton Antivirus, my lil sis accidently clicked: Always Ignore (or something like that)
so ask your friend if he accidently clicked on one of those settings. (can happen, screen pops up, busy on msn messenger, presses enter, BOOM, no guild wars)
I once screwed up my whole computer in that way, .exe files wouldn't work anymore lol :P

some security software locks down the Program Files folder, Spybot is one of those, shut it down then run the fabulous Gw.exe
