Gaile Visit August 7th, 2007.

Gaile is now on, and I'm logging of course. :)

-Data Center experienced a cooling core failure, and thus knocked out the entire building. The building temp got up to 115F degrees, and caused everything in the building to crash. A new one has been added, and it cooling already. It is expected to be up to an hour before it is fully cooled, and it is OK to play now, if you wish.

-No elite skills in GW:EN
-Data Center has been fully recovered
-GW:EN Dungeons are set to a party Size of 8.
-A new "Platinum Edition" Guild Wars will be released in Europe around the beginning of September in Europe, and in North American sometime in October. It will be available on the Online Store and PlayNC on August 31st.
-The new Platinum Edition includes Prophecies and GW:EN
-New Wallpaper will be offered soon. It is customed painted by one of the artiest and will be offered in a higher resolution aswell.
-Guild Wars 2 MAY have Day and Night cycles.
-With the Data Center failure, some data may have been lost. A rollback would not be possible as the failure did not directly effect everyone. Some stayed connected, some conected right back, while some took some time.
-No new storage with GW:EN
-GW:EN does not offer more character slots
-AB servers might not be working right
-Characters in GW:EN need not be ascended
-Brand the Boss winners should hear from ANet soon
-Return to Tyria Sweepstakes for both NA and EU will be announced this Friday
-No news on a "ranged"-pet for GW:EN

dang, thats horrable, i feel sorry for all of them, but its stuff like this that makes me want to work with computors

I tehought there were elites that were in gwen Wow that isa shocker. I guess my 250 skill points will be put to waste.

Wow that is over 46C, hot! I did wonder what the error 40 was caused by eaarlier. Good job on keeping us so well informed and nice of Gaile to make an appearence.

Yup thought I had seen elsewhere there would be no new elites in GW:EN, can't say I'm dissapointed we already have a wide range to choose from, with the new skills coming in and some of them being PvE only my guess is some will be almost as powerful as some elites.

So all thoes skils and spells that was posted are al non elites Wow i hope we dont have to buy every one :-\

LOL, Data centers are just like volcanoes then, except their being cooled, when that goes off all them servers just boil the air XD

Would make a good sauna though, i give them that...

Platinum EDITION THANK ANET...

Saves us from so many people that are interested in GW's and buy GW:EN ONLY to find out they need another campaign too, and even with this some people just have to make mistakes 0_o

I'm guessing, some people was upset that they lost connection while others did not. Would be my guess. Some users, I myself, still had some items that I had sold before the "crash". I'm guess thats why it was asked.

No Elite Skills is a bit of a dissapointment but the Dungeons along with possible Day/Night cycles sound cool.

the day/night cycles would be implemented in gw2 not gwen. it would be fun to see it in gwen but it is a little late to add it i think =)

And which part of the words 'friendly community' don't you understand? :) No need for the sarcasm, pointless posting comments like that when you post alot on this site and will probably kick up a big fuss should the inevitable day come.

Edit: I was intending to post about Gailes comment to Tribina about his diary piece which was a great short journal of the Mutants [MU] coming together from all over Europe in Blackpool a couple of weeks ago (great to meet your guildies in RL), but I couldnt decide which colour baloon I wanted :)

The cash was lost from the sold items, naturally, as they wasn't sold after reconnection.

I wonder if that is al from the altriuim ruins LOL cause dam that place is festering with bots. The hot springs of what i saw didnt even comapre to that of theruins and i have not been to the citadel in a long time i wonderif they still farm there.
