Is it against the EULA for people to spam tells with outside advertisements for game services? I have as of late recieved several unsolicited tells that were advertisements for websites from buying Influence to Managing my finances ingame. I don't want to recieve this drivel while I am playing. Should I report it to someone or just place the offending entity on /ignore?

Petition the offending user then /ignore them.
Make sure you include the toon name, server, time of day and website they giev you in the petition.

In addition, resist the temptation to send the offender a /tell saying you have reported them for violating the EULA. I have heard that this will only make them shut down that particular toon or account and start up another one, making it harder for the GM's to track them down.
I agree this is a major annoyance. It has happened to me twice now.

not sure of the best way, I open the menu and hit "r" and it brings up the petition screen.
Kinda annoying when you do it by accident though.
Life's never so bad it can't get worse.

then look for support (near the bottom)

Heh, got one of these last night, but it was all in Korean. So, I wouldn't even know what it said lol. There was that, and I was afk when it happened.
