is it worth it? (Monk question)

is it worth putting in a superior healing rune and loing 75 health or better to put in a major and just lose the 35? guess asking which is better +1 healing prayers or 40 health

For PvE I use Superior or a combination of 2 Majors.

For PvP I use Minors as the Health is more important to me.

To me, unless ur a 55 monk, or your specific build for a farm calls for a major or superior, always go minor.

I recommend 1 major heal and everything else minors. Unless you want 1 spell to get to a certain duration or healing points then make the rune for that one attribute better. That 1 spell must be the best spell ever also.

For a Pvp healer 100% has to be Minors. As a healer you will be expected to carry Infuse Health a lot of the time and be running with 600+ HP normally. Plus you're going to have a lot of aggro from enemy players (monks having a huge target sign over their head y'see) so the extra HP can be useful if it gives any other monks on your team time to Prot/Heal you.

in pve yes in pvp never monks should only use minor or at the most major runes in pvp

Well in PvP I agree with the above. For PvE it is very build based. For example will the extra level in that attribute actually affect the break point of your spells. Some spells only increase at certain points making any additional attribute level increase meaningless.

It also depends on the area you are going into. Is there a chance you will be spiked, if so I wouldn't go for the superior unless you are good at moving around and staying out of trouble.

I know a lot of people would argue with me here but a lot of times I run with both a superior AND a major depending on what build I am running. So play around with you build and determine if that extra attribute level will make a difference.
