The i-phone is soooo cool, da i made this post!! Lol, its fun, I'm at the hosp :( but I got my fellow ampers right here, this also has youtube, a phone, a camera, internet, who else in GA have i phones?

iphones are AT&T/Apple's interpretation of advanced technology that brings an ipod/phone/tv/etc. into one gadget. Check out this link for more info.
Now, with this being said, the reviews on the iphone are definitely not favorable. There was even a report that listed where the iphone was highly hackable (as it was tested by a field hacker and a patch was presented for it). Now, even with a patch in place...there are still plenty of backdoors to hack this iphone because it runs off of the Mac platform, which is designed to make everything extremely easy to use i.e., very hackable in the same sense.
Now, why haven't Mac's encounter posted hackings? Simple, (numbers are farced to make the point) there are about 2 Mac users for every 1000 Windows users...a hacker can take up to days or weeks to hack a Windows based program to hit many or take 1-2 days to hit the few? what's the biggest payoff?
Not to be negative about your iphone, but i didn't think it was a great concept from word go, because there was a lot of unanswered questions and concerns about it, but it seems to be doing very well...at this point. But be warned...as the Mac user base increases in volume and popularity, so will the hacker attention, and when that happens, i hope Mac has some securities put in place before their community gets shut down.

Ok Mad, that page was a little over the top, lol. However, I was a little amused about the hype over the iphone, just like i was with the hype over an ipod. Woop-te-do. Mp3 player have been doing it longer and cheaper and for free. Now comes the iphone. As Mad's page shows, there are tons of phone that do the same stuff. Two years ago I had a Nokia 6135. It has mp3 player, fm radio, unlimited storage with MMC slot, web access, etc. There was also another Nokia out with itunes on it too. Now I have a blackjack. Web surfing (including logging into gameamp from anywhere, sweet!) mp3s, windows media player (for watching movies, which I do), internet explorer, etc. I even read books on my phone. I almost got a Nokia 8525, which also has office (word, excel, etc) and can even log onto terminal servers anywhere it has a signal!
So as far as an iphone goes, no offense midnight, but it's really all hype. Been plenty of phones that can do all that and a lot cheaper and without being tied to apple. But by all means, enjoy it. It certainly is an advanced phone, and cheaper than an 8525.

Hmmm, why don't the just come out and tell us how they really feel about the iphone...lol.
Again, I'm not a fan of the iphone. My Samsung can do what the iphone can do and it's well over 2 years old. i can watch videos, internet connection, mp3 (play, download, upload)...and i didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for it either...
But to each their own.
