| Help!! I have an in-game stalker!! |

Okay, this is my first time playing CoH. I have a female lvl 30 character who really kicks butt and is very attractive. I, however, am a happily married adult male.
Problem is: another Hero who I ran a few missions with asked me if I wanted to hang out in Pocket D. Never been there before, so I say sure. We get there and it's a nightclub. Well, okay. He asks me if I want to dance, not wanting to break character, I say sure. I dance with the guy a few minutes and he starts telling me how "HOT" I look tonight. I'm thinking "Aww Geez, this is just creepy"
So I leave. Now he keeps sending me innapropriate tells, "Hey sweet thing, blah, blah, blah" almost every time I log on.
One of the things I like about this game is the fact that characters can be played by absoluteley anyone. My character is a girl and I don't want my personality to be disclosed. When Heroes interact with my character, I want them to feel and believe it is who they are interacting with. I don't think I should have to say "Dude: I'm a Dude!" but I do want to be left alone from harrassment to enjoy the game.
Any thoughts or experiences on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Secondly, if you just started playing how did you get a 30 so quick?
Thirdly, just tell him your a lesbian and don't like guys, lol. Maybe he'll start treating you like one of the guys then.

I believe you just type in /ignore his name then that will make it so you can't get tells from him. That is the way to block their normal conversion but I assume it would block their tells as well.

Easy solution, tell him you're a happily married guy.
If he still persists, then /ignore him.

Well, first, you have to make it known that you are not wanting his advances/comments/tells. If they persist, report him for harrassment. Then i would put him on the /ignore list.
I knew someone ingame that had that same type of issue...back in my Hero days, he was cool to team with but he was somewhat of a physco! I believe there is at least 1 Amper here that can vouch for this...not naming any names. But, after he was reported, he seemed to calm down and take a break from the game for a while.

Few things can be done here.
This is the correct approach:
#1: /t "name of the stalker", I'm sorry to say this mate, but I'm a happily married man. I only play a female toon because I'd rather look at a female butt than a male butt all day long.
If that continues:
#2: /ignore "name of the stalker"
If he still manages to harrass you:
#3: /petition Stalker, then fill in the forms.

I was going to give you the run down on leading him on and then when the enevitable real life meeting is requested you lift your skirt and show him your "package". But it is probably best to just put them on your ignore list.

No, there's no emote for that what I was talking about. It was more metaphorical. The guy I really got steamed spent a good part of an afternoon in a PUG TF and just kept escalating it all the way through. I had him thinking he was really talking to a horny young girl and when the TF was over I did get that "Hey you wanna meet in RL" question.
Thinking back on it he was probably a damn pediphile and I should have met him so I could kick his butt in RL too, but hindsight is 20/20. Instead I asked him. "Take a closer look under the skirt bud. Steak and Taters. I guess you missed my Adam's apple too......"
Needless to say I had to put him on the ignore list after that. He seemed to get upset about a guy posing as a girl and leading him on like that. It wasn't so much the rude things he was saying that I could have reported. It was that I was laughing so hard that I actually got him with the ploy and he just couldn't get over it had me rolling on the floor laughing until I cried. I just couldn't play laughing like that.

I made a female toon once that looked like she was nude. I had so many losers coming on to me, I eventually just deleted the toon. I could'nt ingnore the whole server.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.

Yup. Really light, almost transparent tights.
I'm going to try that as well, see if the European servers are crowded with pedophiles as well.

Nude is VERY possible in the character creation. You simply have to find a costume color that matches a skin tone. They tried very hard to make none of them match, but when you go solid white, solid black, solid grey and a few of the brown shades you can put a set of tights on the same color as the skin tone and voila!
Now keep in mind that if you get reported, they'll bust you and change your characters costume. So think with tact, and make sure you can get that character into an SG right away. That way you can change the tights to be a different color and instantly foil the nude look.
I have one such character who's story line revolves around being created by Mother Nature out of mud to fight Hamidon and his minions. Part of the story that goes with it is that she just doesn't understand the concept of clothing, and really embarrases her SG as they try to explan it to her. She's huge, and not really attractive. Just one big ole neked mud girl. She's also a Stone/Stone tank. So mostly you see her armors anyhow. It's realy hard to tell she's in the buff. And that's her confusion. She thinks her Stone Armor is clothing..........
She has since gotten a lot of the plant costume pieces on one of the costumes and I really like that new version a lot. It even follows the story line. At some point vines and stuff grew on her basically taking care of the nude problem, but I still have that original costume available if it gets to hot and stuffy in an instance and I need to shed some vegatation.

I play a gal because I wanted to name someone Scotch Bonnet and it just didn't seem like a very good guy name. Thus, Scotch Bonnet Girl was born.

I'm on Virtue. The RP server....it's even worse there. Frankly, they don't care if you are a male player...Just as long as your toon has boobs.
I actually have a stalker as well... Damn bunny costumes...
Now to the reason for playing female toons. I agree that it is more asthetically pleasing to watch a scantily clad female bashing baddies, but secretly, I've always wanted to dress up in a french maids outfit and call myself "Candy Bottoms"...I just don't think a 300 pound gorilla would look good in drag no matter HOW much makeup he used....
(*note to God - Please let them see this as humor and not think that there is a 300 pound drag queen running around the servers....)
