ut wondering if you thought the ambrace dupers could also be the reason for the dorp in ectos, as they started doing it around 2 months ago, same time as ectos went down-ish.
also if they were the cause of this would you call it E-Terrorism?
as imo itsut like making conterfit notes or the likes, not earntut made adn distributed even if it wasnt intended

Its not just the Armbraces That could Get Duped. ANY items in game could have gotten Duped.. Imo thats why the price crash in ecto's has been,
I believe They Duped Dyes to show ANET how it was done.
Anything You Buy could be Duped.. So be Careful

The Armbrace Scandal is just one of the many things ruining the Guild Wars economy.
The primary problem is Inflation. Before VwK and all the other Solo UW builds came around, Ectos were a steady 10k+ a piece. Before that (back when a-net first put in the Dying Nightmares) Ectos were 17k a Piece. The reason they are droping so quickly is the sheer number in the market. More people are selling them than they are buying because now almost any profession can solo farm the Smites in the Ice Wastes. In addition to the price drop - we've also seen a reduction in the number of drops in the Ice Wastes. Farming the Smites used to bring 2 or more Ectos a run - now you rarely get 1.
Inflation is also affecting the high-end item market. It's no longer enough to just have a "Perfect" item, it must also have a rare skin otherwise its almost common.
