| Help Make Gameamp an "Elite" Fansite |

Now I have been to other GW fansites, and this one has by far been the nicest and most user friendly. Staff actually interact with the users via posts, the community is nicer than any fansite, which is why I dont understand why more ppl use it, and they hold so many events, like the scenery contest and so forth that the elite fansites dont even do. Now I think its unfair for GW.Gameamp to not be an Elite Fansite after all they have dont for us, and all the Friendly users who have contributed to the site. So help spread the word, get more people to come to the site, and try to get Gameamp as an Elite Fansite bc I think they Staff and users rlly deserve it. Sign, if you want to help this site become and elite fansite, and Ill try to do my best to make sure that succedes.

I think GA is not an elite fansite due to the google ads which I don't think Guru or GW Online don't have, also I think it's due to the way the Gameamp is structured. Not 100% sure though.

No....guru and incgamers have ads too......and the ppl arent as nice as here too..........thats why it bugs me not seeing this site as an elite fansite. =(

Yh they do have ads but they don't have ads for gold selling sites, unfortunately GA has google ads so it can't control what's advertised. Also gw is only a part of the gameamp network. Guru has a seperate website for each game.

Anet making this site an elite fansite wont change anything at all. If Anet want to deem this an elite fansite they can but thats just a title which will yield no benefit at all for the forum other than maybe more members which can also have its downsides.

Yh but all our sites are on the same network and gurus aren't(well I don't think they are :S)
Gameamp doesn't hurt your pc unless it doesn't like AWESOME :)

The google adds and the fact that we are part of a network are the reasons we dont have elite fansite status yet.
We are working on it; but those 2 things are hard to overcome :(

Guru even calls themselves part of a network. All they have is they use seperate domains for each site instead of subdomains like we do. If we had seperate domains for each part of the network, than we would technically be just like guru's network is, therefore, solving the problem of "we are a network, they are not"....problem is, domains cost money, though not much, I can get hosting good enough to handle one of these sites(maybe even 2 of em), with 3 free domain names, for like $8 a month. :P

There is some cookie, but it only pops up on IE, and cant really harm your comp.

I dont know but doesnt it also has to do with the fact that GameAmp is a guild fansite?
I mean, guilwarsguru isnt a guild(fansite)
