Just woundering if i use the map mad easy mod from the official guildwiki site will i get banned for using it?

As far as we know Anet have no problem with players using Texmod, as it doesn't effect other players in the game, only your own screen. So you'll be fine. Also, I see no way that they'd be able to tell you were running, not that that's the best principle to rely on though.
Pretty sure as it only affects your display of the game that it's all good.

no, if u go on wiki on the txt mod sectiob, and read the quotes from gail gray, and the others, u will see everything and that will answer ur question

Yes its ok to use it and as far as what it is. It lets you see what areas you have not uncovered for your exploring title. Here is a link that will explain it a lot better for you as well as it has the links to the mods. Cartography Made Easy
