New profs possible to use in GW prophecies ?

I just bought both addons Factions and Nightfall ( I had prophecies 3 years ago )

I wanted to take a warrior / Dervish but I love questing and I want to start from the beginning again.

So Prophecies, factions, nightfall

1) Because dervish is secund prof here, is it possible to choose it when you got to pick your next prof ?

2) If dervish is your primairy prof, is it then possible to start from prophecies ? if not, is there a way ?

It would be very retarded if you like playing the chapters in the right order but that you cant because a prof you wanted isnt in it -_- ( and you bought the expansions for it )

2) If dervish is your primairy prof, is it then possible to start from prophecies ? if not, is there a way ?
No, you may only start a Primary Dervish character from Nightfall.

if u have added the campaigns to the same account(the add key thingie) u can travel from campaign to campaign.
so if u want to get a dervish secundairy, u have to go to nf with the char.
u can start a dervish and paragon only in nf and sin and rit only in factions so none of them can start in prophecies :P

he wants to know if u can pick dervish as second prof when u need to pick ur second profession in prophecies or factions

because dervish is nightfall prof, u cant pick it as second prof in prophecies and factions when u start, only in nf

Anyone can point me the fastest way to NF ?
Because I dont want to play like half campaign prophcies, then half NF and the rest prophecies :S

1)not in pre, have to go to elona

so your saying because you have nf you should be allowed to bring a dervish back around 4 years(if nf is set +2 years) and pick a prof thats not native, tbh i think it'd be pretty messed up up you could

Right thats what I was saying in order for him to get it as a secondary he has to take his character to Nightfall in order to change it to Dervish.

I think it would be pretty hard for you to have had Prophecies for 3 years considering it's only been out for a little over 2 years now :P. Just thought I'd point that out to ya ;). Cheers ^_^

Not only does he have to get his character to Elona he has to complete the NF story line as fars the first part of Building the Base (The NF equivalent of Assention), before he can acces the char changer to get the dervish secondary.

1) There are a few ways to get the dervish as a second profession, but they all include going to Elona. The only way to go to Elona from prophecies is to do a quest that will be given to you in Lion's Arch, which means that you will have to advance a little bit in the campaign. After that, you'll have to find a way in Elona to change your secondary profession (which I can't remember by heart how...).

2) No, the only way to be Dervish primary is to be in Elona. This is logical, come to think of it. For example, it wouldn't be normal (if you compare) to have a lot of samourais in Europe with the knights, samourais bornt and trained there. The same goes for the Prophecies Campaign ; dervish is not a type of class that you can encounter there, unless you have a traveller from Elona, and then, you would expect him to have some experience (and not be there in pre-searing).

I hope it adds a little bit to the answers already there.
