i dont know if we have a weakness against brute or what
i was dueling and i just did NO damage on him ... he had resistence to hold ( 2 by the way unyielding and acrobatics ) so was invencible ... but i was on bloody bay and just owned a scrapper .. he was 25 and i 24 ... i killed him and he not even touch me ... perfect ! lol
acrobatics make invulnerable to hold .. or just provides some resistence making the hold effect more quick ?
the real best powers of a dom is only at the high lvl ... not like some others archtype like stalker and brute
will we get more powerful on the future ?
making possible to defeat a brute ?

Of course it also depends on which primary and secondary powers you have, but in general, the best Dominator powers come at level 35 and 38 (Psychic Shockwave, Blaze, Greater Ice Sword, those kind of powers).
And yes, Unyielding+Acrobatics gives quite a lot of hold protection. You'd have to stack four or five holds in order to actually break through his protection.

Against Brute's only stalkers do alright damage (from the villains side) but they dont last long. Doms arent ever going to do much damage, and i know. Hell my cor has dueled brutes and doms solo, i did next to nothing against the brute and the dom did little even to me as a cor. Dom's need to work on tactical advantage, when shields are down you'll see more damage dont worry, its just getting them down (and keeping them down) that you will need to work at.
What powersets do you support and ill try and see if i can figure out some form of tactical advantage for you?

basic tatic hold and DP ( owner power ) after this just need to keep the hold and dmg dmg dmg !
