im tryin to add my gw cd key to my play nc account and it keeps saying invalid cd key. this could be that there are things such as O,8,B,Q,I,1 and things like that i could be reading wrong. anyway i can add to a plaync account without having to type it in?

Is it a used key or a new key? Keys that have already been used, can't be added to the account.

im not tryin to add it to my guild wars account, im trying to add it to a plaync account so i dont have to worry about gettin hacked as much, because to change the pass, you have to do it thru plaync and not just send a new pass to the email.

I get what your saying. But if the Key is used, you can't add it. Or rather, I have yet to have been able too.

I added 2 "used" Guild Wars CD Keys to my PlayNC account to activate the in-game store, both had been in use for about a year. You were never asked nor needed to add them to PlayNC unless you wanted to register for support, or, to be able to access the online store. Both were legit, 1 purchased in a store, 1 purchased online (key only).
If you're having trouble adding the key; you're maybe adding it wrong, you're adding a key someone else registered (bought in-game for example), or you've already registered the key yourself with PlayNC (it happens*).
* My mate registered his when the store came out, like I did, but just plain forgot he'd done it, and couldn't think what username/password he registered with PlayNC - I think he requested a password reminder using the email he logs in with and PlayNC sent him his password via email... not sure how he'd forgotten though, seems fairly easy to remember.

What I'm saying is: If you can access the store, it's already registered with PlayNC... can you get in?
