Unwelcome to Gameamp lycan_asr! Glad that you stopped by to frequent our companionship.
Now, I'm no Brute expert by any means, however, I can tell you if you went with....

EM/Fiery
either one of these combos will help keep that Fury bar racing up and you'll have some fun running with them...I'm sure you'll get plenty of feedback on this one here.

I love my Fire/Fire... The AoE is amazingly fun... running with full groups, leaping fearlessly into packs of mobs..
Build up - Fire Sword Circle - Breath Of Fire - Consume.. all while your Blazing Aura is burning everyone around you... if your healer can't keep up, you've got Healing Flames... don't even need taunt because no one in the group can compare to the damage your kicking out.. Once I get Fiery Embrace.. it'll be even more insane.
Oh man it's just awesome.

heres an experianced persons adive, roll with what you want to roll. Dont worry about how it ranks in PvE or PvP, roll with what you think looks like fun.
And ill tell you dark armor is an awesome set to play with

Well, I would suggest making a EM/EA (if you didn't know, energy melee/energy aura)... the reason being is because EM uses lots and lots of end... but, there are things like conserve energy at higher levels and your main enhancements would probably be aiming towards disoreint (dunno how to spell it lol) and end decrease... if you don't get barrage then I would suggest later on that you get at least Boxing in fighting pool...

I just started my brute with stone whatever as my primary (sorry for the noobness) and invonerablilty as my secondary. It's pretty strong and levels pretty well so I'm happy...that might be something to look into.

i am a big fan of the foot stomp, i have a lvl 35 ss/inv brute and man i have a ton of fun with him, i am not really into pvp. i just go there just to do missions if i feel like it lol. but the stone brute with inv is a really good start you will have fun with it.

Stone/Invuln is a good combo, in the earlier lvls you will gobble end like a starved person introduced into thanksgiving dinner. Just stick with it and get stamina ASAP!!! Personally i went stone/energy, i breeze through baddies, fury bar isnt always high just cuz i suck up end and opening burst has quite a long recharge. For a PvP/E brute I would suggest stone/ because of its large damage output. Overall I would have to say that /Elec would be your best bet with defense, but in my experience stone/elec hurts them good guys! Best of both worlds!
