Which is the best epic to go with for farming?

Whether your talking Troller Primaries or Epic Pools, Fire would be the best farming selection. It has the best AoE DPS potential.

Fire/Kin/Fire.......
Fulcrum shift + Fireball + Fire Cages + Hot Feet = ROAST NUTZ!
The order after Fulcrum Shift doesn't really matter and throwing a Flashfire in there doesn't hurt either.
Not sure what the OP's primary and secondary are but this combo works great for me. Even for the other Troller types the Fire Epics offer the most DPS potential. Fireball on a Troller = GUUD! Lock em down as Trollers do.... and Whammo!

Stone Mastery's Fissure has better DPS than Fire Mastery's Fireball. Also, the defense from Rock Armor is in theory better than the Resistence from Fire Shield. That said, Fire Mastery is probably better for actual playing. More satisfying burst damage from Fireball, and Fire Blast is better for picking off stragglers left over from your initial alpha strike. My advice, if you aren't worried about being the absolute fastest is go Fire Mastery. It'll serve you better when fighting single foes, such as all the AVs from the STF, or if you should decide to do single missions at some point, instead of all farming, all the time.
