Hello to all those current CoV members out there.
I just bought the CoV game and installed it, Ive read the game manual and pretty much decided i would like to create a Stalker. At would level do i get the ability to Fly really fast? or Teleport, or Superjump?
Also, if anybody could spare me some extra details about this game, id appreciate it.

Welcome to GameAmp!
Well you can fly, jump, or teleport at level 14. But, sadly no travel power is very fast until at least 15 and thats if you devote extra slots to it for enhancements. As far as what travel power should you take? Well, I would say since your a stalker you should consider super jump, or super speed.
As for level fast well there really is a lot of different methods out there. I think for stalkers the best is when you can do paper missions (level 5 or 6 I believe and you must be in Port Oaks) since you can go invisible you can run to the end of the mission grab the glowie, kill the bad guy or what ever it is the mission requirements are. Avoid kidnap missions as a stalker for obvious reasons. They can't follow what they cant see.

Well, thanks man for replying to me. And i will make a character on the "Protector" server. I also read up on somthing how you can obtain travel powers at lvl 6?

You can but there not so much travel pwrs. At level 6 you can get Combat Jump, and hover. Hover is an extremely slow version of flight so almost most better off just running to the mission. As for Combat Jump it isn't too bad but still the height you can jump isn't all that much.
Whenever you get onto protector just give me a shout we will help ya get a foothold on the game.

I guess ill get Combat Jump, one of my friendz used to play this and he was level 12 ( CoH ) And he said he got a high jump power, im assuming Combat jump is what he meant?

well at level 12 it would have to be Combat Jump but compared to Super Jump I wouldnt say its very high LOL.

The patches or the game itself? Patches normally not to long 30 minutes on average for me but it would also depend greatly on your PC and your internet connection. The game itself can take several hours to download LOL.

lol, The game took 30mins to downloas for me, but since im STILL downloading the patches, its been atleast 5 hours lol. If i get Teleportation, is it hard to control?

No its not really that hard to control its just an endurance drain. What build are you going with?

Well I think alot of it comes down to your style. I personally would suggest starting out with a Thugs/Dark Miasma Mastermind. It is an easy toon to play and they pack a mean punch at higher levels.

Ive got my heart set on this Stalker, and omg,, my game finally finished, ill make a stalker on protecter, are you online? Ok, i made a Corrupter (Natural) and hes lvl 5 so far, my name is Cixader, or Peabear, there on Protector aswell so add me somtime :)

Hiyah!, If your set on making a skalker a good build would probebly be Em/Sr , Em/Regen, spines is fun but harder to know what ur doin, Well if ur making a stalker, get the Assassins "*****" power, Build Up And Placate, Now as for travel powers,
1. Tp, drains end rapidly but is very well 1 of if not the fastest travel powers, great for pvp if you know how to use it.
2 Hasten & Super Speed, Hasten is a great bonus, just increases ur recharge speed tremendously and super speed is really fast as well, most common travel power
3 Combat Jumping & Super Jump, better than super speed becuase in CoV there isnt enough flat road for the Super speed to really be effective
4 Fly, slowest travel power, dont get it.
Get Fitness for the Staminia helps alot
(PvP Only) Get stealth to help stay hidden
Presence Pool is a super pool to get if u dont get the dark melee pool, it gives u fear at 14, and 20

Welcome to CoV and Gameamp.
While you may think that it'll be a long time before you get a ttravel power don't despair. When you hit Port Oakes you'll be doing special missions called Mayhems. At the end of the first Mayhem you'll be rewarded with a raptor pack (flight) and at the end of the second you'll score a Jump Pack (super jump). Between theese two temporary powers you should be able to hit 14 and know full well which is right for you.
