Well this is my new signature I made completely from scratch. I am happy with the outcome but any suggestions will be helpful so I can make it more awe inspiring.

very nice but i think that it may look better if the 'fog surrounding the white thing (the moon?) was a little less dense.

Thank you for the reply. That white thing is not a moon to be honest I guess it is best described as a bubble. The "fog" is debris coming from the planet since abubble is crashing into it.
I lowered the opac on the "fog" coming from the collision of the object and the planet

Your sig is interesting but its a little blurry like the quality is low or something.

I used photoshop to make the entire thing. the only thing that I had to use out of photoshop was a picture of a close up rock for the planet's texture. The hardest part I would have to say was putting details in the explosion so it looked just right.
I feel the text doesn't fit too well but I couldn't think of anything at the I made it.

I found me a fonts pack the other day...now I have like 10,000 fonts which is overkill but you know you can always find a good one!

Gratz your photoshop now takes 10 minutes to open and another 5 minutes everytime you click on the text tool :P
Seriously though, I once downloaded a 5000 font pack and it had an amazing selection, but that's just way more than anyone needs. You can't ever find what you want, just scrolling through the A's takes forever, let alone the other 25 letters of the alphabets, and numbers >.< I'd seriously reccomend backing up that folder and putting the fonts you actually want to use into you main fonts folder. If nothing else it'll save you a lot of bother when programs have to "think" for extended periods of time to load up the font previes etc. Certainly was very annoying for me a couple of years ago.

Thank you. I know what you mean. I always did signatures focus around a render like the signature above. Making someting out of nothing is more versatile. Your outcome can look completely different than the tut's outcome, in a good way.

LOL only if paragon armor looked that good. Actually its a warrior render from an upcoming game from NCsoft called Aion. The wings are from another render from an elementalist in the same game.

Yep that's pretty much it! The worst part is that half the fonts just look like Ariel anyway. I did have a good selection of fonts I used until I reformatted the other day and getting the big pack was lazyness because I couldn't be bothered searching www.1001freefonts.com/ for what I wanted.
The problem I have now is that I can't just delete everything from the fonts folder since I don't know what's using what ... but then I guess you don't learn unless you try!!
Oh and that Aion pic looks sweet...that might fill the gap for me until GW2 comes out but I haven't seen any news about it lately.

off-topic: you can find out more about aion through www.aionsource.com. It is about to hit closed beta in october for korea(it is not a grinder).
Back on topic:
I always manually move the text to the folder so I know where it is and i can delete it if need be. Most annoying thing though is setting the brushes you want. I end up over writing brushes or never finding the one I want. This happened a lot when making this signature since I kept switching brushes. There are soo many grunge brushes out there that you make or have to download it gets confusing at times.
