What is the best camputer/laptop to run CoX?
Im just laggy with Toshibia, and Sony....

Well, its not that its toshiba or sony. Its all a matter of tech specs. Two very important areas to consider are RAM (memory) and the video card. Laptops are always more expensive for less performance so unless you are loaded, a laptop may not be the best choice for a gaming pc. Personally, my favorites are Nvidia graphics cards, AMD processors and lots o' memory. I am currently running an Athlon xp 5200+, Nvidia 8800 GTX, 2 gigs of pc6400 desktop PC and it runs CoH flawlessly (except for all the windows vista bugs). Be sure that you are getting conistant connection speeds as well, that can often attribute to the lag.

Depending on the laptop, I needed portablility and got the best specs I could, it was more expensive than a desktop though. Dell Insp9400, Nvidia 7900, 2 gig RAM. The game runs wonderfully on this system, with the exception of Ritki Raids, I get some lag.

If you don't have at least 2GB RAM, no matter what you're running, it won't matter how good anything else is. Eventually, the lag will catch you. Upgrade your memory to at least this minimum. Cheapest way to upgrade your performance, and worth every penny.
Make sure that programs aren't running in the background, like spyware. If you run through a router (wireless or otherwise), you don't need any spyware on autorun. Do your weekly (or daily if you are worried about it) scans manually, and let the firewall that is hardwired into most routers do its thing.
Some folks even go so far as to have a "gaming rig" that has nothing but whatever games they play on it, and another computer that does everything else. Those folks are sick in the head and have way too much money to spend, and they should send some to me post-haste! :)
